The paperboy sent his mum with a note saying he'll be late again.
Jet lag from Portugal the lazy arghs !

Add another to the B team in list
It's Gez Sithole from Gillingham.

We are due a Jon Dadi article. Is it lost in the time warp or left in some English bar in Valvor.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's finally arrived ! Don't believe the excuses, we see the truth

"Where's me shirt"
There's no sight, sound or clue as to when they will be in stock and available to order.
It's now unlikely I'll have a new shirt delivered in time for the big kick off.
How will I remember to service my car in time to go and collect it from the post box.
I think I best pen a letter to The Times.
Looks like first team shopping is done for now until the end of the transfer window. Evatt after 2 players, presume a centre back and striker.
We've always been massively late when it comes to announcing kits. Ever since Macron deal. New sponsors or not.
Reebok always had the new one out early.
It wasn't me Guv honest.
Beware the supercomputer predictions.
The Russians and Trump have both had hackers in it playing about with the predictions. I know it was them I saw them in entering as I was leaving.
Evatt gives an update on Josh Sheehan and Lloyd Isgrove. It's promising for Sheehan but not quite so good for Izzy.

MAJOR UPDATE … It has come to my attention that Bolton captain Ricardo Almedia Santos was wanted by Blackpool with them putting in a bid of up to 7 figures for the Portuguese stallion. The Centre half has confirmed he’s not interested in that small club with no ambition. #bwfc
If true it would have had to be several million and not up to a million. He's got to be worth more than that surely.
That tweet was from Alan Nixon.
Nixon again. I just love the last sentence.
Seems MK have agreed the fee with Burnley of around £4 million for starlet Scott Twine. West Brom trying to intervene last minute which could cause upset, Wigan approached and Twine thought it was the rugby club - he hadn’t heard of the football club. #mkdons #clarets #wba #wafc
Back in BL6
IE is sat on his wallet talking about not spending. He wants to watch the B team play a few times to check for himself, just in case if there's a hidden gem among all those new signings.
From a gills fan. Sithole not good enough for the first team at the moment. If one gem does come from the b team it will be worth it.
Best not believe another fans view, we know what fans can be like.
Wait and see is probably the best policy.
As Sheehan and Isgrove will not be fit for the kick off.
Perhaps we can add something like 🚑next to their names at the top.
Been a bit slow this summer hasn't it. Last summer we managed 602 on the comments counter. Perhaps IE is saving the best 'til last to help us out.
I see the 'grand arc' planning permission has been passed. Has anybody spotted SWIE queuing up for a penthouse yet?
The big question on everybody's lips is. Will the Burnden Pie shop get one of the retail spaces?
It's out
Guess who wasn't expecting it to be in the shop today.
Have watch of the video first

Then head over to the shop with cash in hand

Didn't the Burnden pie shop close down when we packed up and went to the ReeBok?
Funnily enough, I wanted to sell up in Spain and buy something in England but her indoors has put her foot down and said not yet. So maybe a couple more years before anything happens on that one.
However, I wouldn't want anywhere without a bit of land with it. I'm thinking about taking up beekeeping and having a few chickens. I don't think that the club would like it if I started digging up the pitch for a vegetable plot and putting a few beehives up and a chicken coupe.
I went on a short beekeeping course a few weeks ago. They are lovely little creatures I had one of those beekeeping suits on. It's amazing how many bang into your hands and body. The good news was that none of them tried to sting me.

Pie shop was still open and going during Covid.
I've not heard much of late; we'll have to send one of the boys down to take a look for us.
Many moons ago I used to walk my dog and pop down at lunch time for a bag of pies, dog stayed sat properly by the door and barked when I asked him if he wanted a meat pie.
Lovely folk were running it, always time for a chat. Those pie machines were a joy to watch working.
Happy days.
Burnden pie shop still going, they have them in the sweet green tavern.
Thanks Benny
Next time I'm over and up North I'll be popping in.
Matchday. Let's hope no long term injuries tonight like out till January.
