This just highlights how well run we've been.
As for the net spend trophy per trophy link, what's the jist of that as I can't view the article?
Everton at 8th is just crazy considering how bad they are.
How is Real Madrid not on that list?
Oh and United

Probably the only team on the list that are arguably pound for pound worse than us.
We left Ed Woodward in charge of all that money. It's no wonder it all went badly wrong.

Funny. Chelsea and Liverpool winning Champions League and titles on similar net spends to Spurs!
Spurs fans still fantasising that we can't win trophies without Roman's pockets. We've been doing it for a decade already

Net spend, absolutely laughable. Deserve to be put out back and shot.

Yes why would any company care about their net spend. Idiots

This is incredibly amusing.
Every single transfer window (most notably during the transfer window that takes place in the summer), fans get excited and speculative in regards who their club is going to sign.
Every. Single. Time.
Yet it is something that fans use in order to be critical of other clubs.
Transfers have happened throughout the history of the game. There has always been clubs have spent more than others.
And now posters on sites such as this are using things like net spend as a valid argument, (and football websites do this too) while ignoring the blatantly obvious fact that money spent on transfers or money received on transfers is not in a separate from all the other money money that any single club generates.
The biggest clubs spend the most money because they have the most money to spend.
And the biggest clubs spend the most money because they want to try and consolidate their position at the top.
And clubs wanting to reach that level will invest (that’s invest) in their playing staff in an attempt to give them a chance of competing.
It’s always been this way. And always will.
The biggest clubs spend the most money because they have the most money to spend.

Not necessarily true tbf. Some clubs spend the most because they have rich owners.
