Liz Truss tweaking the NIP today🤣👍
My work here is done🤓
Mon Rangers.🍀

Think it's just going to be a statement TBAB as the government know full well unilaterally disapplying elements of the NIP will be met with 'rebalancing' from the EU.
Essentially threatening to invoke a16 without doing so.

👍
Shambles, buddy.
Not thought through, or rushed through .....back before December 2019 GE, by Boris seeking to get his brexit done before the election, and helied to dup and unionists who were Duped, but to get brexit signed off, he knew he was creating a problem with the nip, but either republicans or unionists were going to be shafted.
Perhaps, the plan was to ignore or tweak the protocol all along??.

Definitely.
The various impact assessments, (including parliament and committee, as well as private sector) all highlighted the impediments, (border control posts, export heath declarations etc) brought about by Johnson’s Brexit, which the NIP sought to mitigate.
What scares ulster protestants about a United Ireland..
Don't they know prods in the south live in peace with catholics...with 0 bs ? No flags, no murals, no painted kerbstones , no strife ....

Ed Milliband tore Johnson to shreds on this in parliament in 2020, yet they still behave like no-one saw it coming
