The Texan Michael Knighton.

I always had doubts about him, and really happy he has slync ed off, but the length of time that he's wasted knowing all the time, that other people had the funds to get us out of this mess, makes me sick.

It was obvious 6 months ago he hadn't got any money and was a fantasist. Only Quantuma and a few deluded folk on twitter didn't realise.

We are well rid of this awful specimen.

We must really be grateful that it has happened now, rather than him scrape the money together to buy because when you read up, he owes money everywhere l

Thank the good Lord! But a plague on CK for wasting all this time. Without his so-called interest a takeover would have been completed by now. And how on earth were Quantuma taken in by this man unless by intentional misrepresentation amounting to fraud. Could Q sue him for consequential losses arising from breach of contract?

Would love to be able to speak to Kirchner and ask “why?”

Then talk to Quantuma and ask “how?”

Can things get any worse for our beleaguered club? Louie Sibley's girlfriend was viciously assaulted in Nottingham by some thug and his girlfriend. See the Sun for a full report and shocking photo. I do not like that newspaper at all but this is clearly genuine.

Sibley had posted in Twitter about the incident. The attack on the girlfriend is absolutely awful ( more so when you know it was inflicted by a man) but sadly it doesn't come as a surprise given my own experiences in the past of Nottingham.

Slightly foolish perhaps of Sibley to go to a rival city, it's more likely to create hostility than not when the 'yuff' are fuelled on alcohol.

I noticed Justin Rose was wearing a golf top with Kirchner's company logo on it this weekend in the Canadian Open. He clearly moves in some rich circles and if Quantuma was taken in, so was the EFL and so was Rooney. The whole thing is baffling. Is it all built on sand?

What now? It gets more and more desperate. Please let's get something sorted and soon.

It is baffling - especially as to why CK got involved in the first place and why and how Quantuma and EFL instated him as preferred bidder. There must have been some serious misstatements as to funds and/or sourcing or CK has indeed taken a massive hit via bitcoin.

Sorry, but Quantuma and the EFL to a lesser extent have botched things up big time. I don’t know about due diligence, it appears to be a case of gross negligence.

With the speed that things have moved over the last 9 months it makes you wonder how we we will get out of this mess. Time is now of the essence. The players (what's left of them) are due back in training next week. Somebody needs to get their finger out ... and fast. For me the blame lays squarely on the shoulders of the abministrators Quantuma....

They charge by the hour so it is in the interests of Quantuma to string it out. Qui administrat administratores to misquote Juvenal.

I can't see how this will be sorted in time. The longer it takes the less the value is as these players we hope to keep will for sure start to leave so we then need to recruit in order to have a team to start the season which takes even longer.

So the offer from people like Ashley will be lower and lower but the debt that needs paying remains the same.

And how can someone complete this in a week or two in that scenario?

Gloomy outlook but on a positive note I think the shirts that were ordered arrive imminently ...

With interest the debt that needs paying will be increasing each month.

Quantuma really need to acknowledge what an incredibly poor job they've done in terms of who they offered PB to( given their Due Diligence) and waive their own fees for the last two months. Not that that will happen.

posted on 14/6/22

The answer might be that we start next season in administration if there are local people who will agree to guarantee to fund the club. It's grim but it may be the only short-term solution.

posted on 14/6/22

I'm sure that's likely Vidal, I just don't see how we will have players in that scenario as we can't sign anyone. EFL would need to give special approval like when we signed Jags for example I suppose.

I've heard that Ashley's offer was £15M. No wonder Craptuma wanted CK as PB.

Well that's £15 millions more than that idiot has in his post office account.

£15M would be an opening bid. A bit low but remember the stadium isn't included so it's basically bidding for a currently failing brand. Ashley's business plan is to buy brands and then add value to them. No better way of adding value than promotion,, especially to the Premier League.

posted on 14/6/22

But £21.4M is the amount the creditors have agreed. If that is not met then it's back to square one negotiating that. More time consumed.

Kirchner had to put down a non-refundable deposit which I thought was £5m but might be just £2m according to Simon Jordan.

Assuming that goes into the operation then that maybe buys us another month or two as the wages were £1.6m last time and will probably be lower soon as there will be almost no players to pay!

If we do remain in administration at the start of the season, albeit funded by local philanthropists, we will still be under a transfer embargo as Fin points out. We will have just five contracted players so something will have to give but what exactly? We cannot possibly compete and help "maintain the integrity of the League" as EFL keep banging on about so can EFL at their discretion change the rules and relax the embargo? As I say, something will have to give!

I am not sure if Simon Jordan knows the detail of the CK bid/deal - he seems to just be pontificating/guessing/making it up!
