I’d like to say I’m surprised but I’m not. Something is clearly amiss. I dealt with wire transfers when I was a lawyer back in England and I deal with then now working as a paralegal in the US and if the moneys had been sent they would have arrived almost instantaneously. There odd occasions where banks hold them back pending fraud investigations but they are usually cleared up fairly quickly. I would imagine that any funds would have sent to a joint escrow account, to be released on further instructions. If the funds aren’t there, then they haven’t been sent and something is wrong.

Don’t panic guys. It’s quite obvious what is going on here. When the CK bid was accepted, a BitCoin was priced at circa £35,000 – however markets do fluctuate and the price recently fell to £22,000 (ie a circa 38% drop) towards the end of May 2022. CK would be unwise to disinvest at this low point, so he’s obviously waiting for the price to increase again. Fortunately, it seems to have done so and is currently trading at just short of £25,000. Give it a couple more weeks (or a month or so) and I reckon the price will be right back up again – at which point things will click into place and he can pull his funds out and invest in you lot. There really is no need for concern

If someone is relying on Bitcoin there is every reason to be concerned.
Cashin made his Irish debut today, and gave an assist for the 2nd goal in a 3..1 win
I know CK has said "there's no problem", and that he's "signed all the paperwork", that he's "turned down Mike Ashley's offer of help", and that it's down to "banking issues".... but also that he's not going to give a "daily running commentary "..... but I think he needs to come out and say what the hold up is....as this delay is unsettling....and as ever its the supporters that suffer...
The worrying thing is that with all the attention from other clubs about the players, if it's not settled very soon most of them will be gone.
They can only hold on so long before they need to think of there future.
Another deadline gone. This is like waiting for an Easyjet flight. You hope but deep inside you know it's never going to arrive.
As I said - it's the waiting that kills you.
But for my part, I still believe it will go through for the simple reason that none of CK's actions and statements will make any sense at all if it does not go through. Why would anyone get this far knowing that he does not have the means to complete?!
But even I will start to have serious doubts if it's not done by the end of this week.
On a separate note I've been watching a few highlights from some National League games and have been very impressed by the standard of football. Maybe there is no need to assume that League 1 will be all hoofball. Also I have seen some really good players but one in particular stands out - McAtee of Grimsby. If Lawrence goes I suspect M could be a great replacement if we could get him.
The saying is.
No news is good news.
We must be getting brilliant news after all this time.
One week on from the final countdown and nothing.
If we carry on like this Chicago, Grimsby will be getting our players.
....well we can only guess at what's going off....if it's not money [because CK declined MA] then I can only assume it's down to the terms of the lease.....

CK said everything was signed and that he signed last.
So it has to be a shortage of the old greenbacks I'm afraid.
Sorry, but RD broadcasting that the deal will collapse today
The Mail online says he failed to get the funds.
BBC Radio Derby report that Kirchner has failed to close the deal, despite having his period as preferred bidder extended twice.
It is also understood that funds promised by the 34-year-old to pay Derby wages for May have not arrived.
The English Football League conditionally approved the takeover when contracts for the sale of the club had been exchanged on 17 May.
FFS... the whole thing stinks...
Ride in Mike Ashley to the rescue with a derisory low bid.
I'd take any bid right now.

If the deal is to collapse because CK does not have (or cannot get) the funds then what the hell has he been playing at? If it all fails he will deserve the idiot of the year award. Who in his right mind would do and say all that he has done and said so far if the basics, ie funds have never been and were never likely to be available?!
Yep, VC, Grimsby could well end up taking some of our players.
I've just listened to Jim White and Simon Jordan discuss this at length. Worth a listen. CK told JW that there is no problem and it will all go through today. But why on earth has this transfer of funds taken so long? Yes it's a lot of money but international transfers happen all the time. Someone somewhere should come out and explain the problem to the long-suffering Derby fans. And it is worrying when Ed Dawes says it is likely to collapse today.
He’s playing golf at a pro-am for the new Saudi backed LIV tour that’s starts tomorrow.
Probably on his hands and knees begging some prince for a loan as we speak.
Still not payed May's wage bill, which he said he would.
Is he a mate of Alan B/stard.
Spart might know.
