If the deal is to collapse because CK does not have (or cannot get) the funds then what the hell has he been playing at? If it all fails he will deserve the idiot of the year award. Who in his right mind would do and say all that he has done and said so far if the basics, ie funds have never been and were never likely to be available?!
Yep, VC, Grimsby could well end up taking some of our players.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
All the due diligence has been done by the Administrators and the EFL ie...is he a credible buyer, does he have the funds etc etc....so it seems unlikely at the 25th hour it turns out he's a charlatan who has no money....surely ???

It will make no sense at all if it collapses. It would certainly call into question all the verbiage, assurances, checks etc emanating from Quantuma and EFL
According to the Mail, Clowes Developments has completed the purchase of the stadium and "all that remains is for CK to put his money on the table".

Remember the EFL approved Munto finance at Notts County and the gangster who now owns Forest so their due diligence aint that diligent.
If this collapses I hope Quantuma get the square root of feck-all.
Ed Dawes now says Quantuma are about to withdraw preferred bidder status from CK.
Hmmmm.... I see also that CK has "no commented" when asked what was happening.... and "sources" have said the money is tied up in Red Tape.... sounds like BS to me...
I'm afraid you have to question the mentality of the man to do what appears on the surface to be madness.
On the other hand he could have realized what big thing he was taking on, and he may be hoping that the admins remove him from pb status in the hope he can claim his non refundable deposit of I beleive £5 milion back on the basis that they removed him before he.came up with the cash.
Surely "non-refundable" means just that!?

Alan Nixon (I know) on talk sport this morning confirming what we've already heard, that the money from CK is being held up as it's being investigated for money laundering, seems confident that CK has the funds and that it's only a matter of time. Whatever, just get it over the line!

If it's taking this long there must be some suspicion about the source of his funds. I tried finding a bit more about him but when I googled he doesn't appear to have Wikipedia entry, only some self written biography giving details of his biceps but nothing about how he made his money in such a short time. I have a feeling he is not the honest broker he makes himself out to be.

He has previously stated that he made the money he intends to use from crypto investments mostly. That's a personal investment and not something likely to be widely available on the internet unlike the financial position of his company for example and which is not the source of funds.

Like any bubble some will make lots of money and many will lose. Those who bought when Bitcoin was at $60,000 dollars can't be thinking much about how well their investment is doing. It's all pump and dump. I take it you are a fan of Crypto, the currency of choice for paedophiles, drug smugglers, people smugglers and internet scammers.
I take it you haven't got any Spart?
I don’t have a penny in it Spart and hugely risky to get in now. But there are some who have made absolutely enormous fortunes from being early adopters and it’s the best performing investment of the last several years by a mile. If CK was an early adopter (and he’s young enough to be) then he could easily have made many millions to buy Derby despite the recent huge drops and volatility.
Rob Dorset has said on twitter
Mike Ashley has today told #dcfc admins he is still very keen to buy club and has requested urgent meeting to discuss poss deal.
So far, no response from Quantuma.
Chris Kirchner's bid is in disarray after the administrators removed his exclusivity period to complete a takeover
If Mike Ashley was so keen to buy the club, where has he been hiding for the last 6 months?
I wonder if Steve Bruce will be manager.
