If the deal is to collapse because CK does not have (or cannot get) the funds then what the hell has he been playing at? If it all fails he will deserve the idiot of the year award. Who in his right mind would do and say all that he has done and said so far if the basics, ie funds have never been and were never likely to be available?!

Yep, VC, Grimsby could well end up taking some of our players.

All the due diligence has been done by the Administrators and the EFL ie...is he a credible buyer, does he have the funds etc etc....so it seems unlikely at the 25th hour it turns out he's a charlatan who has no money....surely ???

According to the Mail, Clowes Developments has completed the purchase of the stadium and "all that remains is for CK to put his money on the table".

Remember the EFL approved Munto finance at Notts County and the gangster who now owns Forest so their due diligence aint that diligent.

Hmmmm.... I see also that CK has "no commented" when asked what was happening.... and "sources" have said the money is tied up in Red Tape.... sounds like BS to me...

I'm afraid you have to question the mentality of the man to do what appears on the surface to be madness.
On the other hand he could have realized what big thing he was taking on, and he may be hoping that the admins remove him from pb status in the hope he can claim his non refundable deposit of I beleive £5 milion back on the basis that they removed him before he.came up with the cash.

The crypto/bitcoincurrenc is used by corrupt individuals and countries like China North Korea Iran Russia, and others to get around sanctions, hide drug money and other neffarious activity, so any high profile transfer will attract attention from the old bill.

I don’t have a penny in it Spart and hugely risky to get in now. But there are some who have made absolutely enormous fortunes from being early adopters and it’s the best performing investment of the last several years by a mile. If CK was an early adopter (and he’s young enough to be) then he could easily have made many millions to buy Derby despite the recent huge drops and volatility.
