Well, the final was Liverpool v Juventus, if that’s what you mean?
No it was who souness was playing for the night of the final.
Neither team involved but who he was signed to at the time.
There is a memorial plaque on the wall of the Sir Kenny Dalglish stand. Jurgen Klopp and Jordan Henderson hung a wreath there on the anniversary. They went there directly from the airport when returning from Paris. It is commemorated every year by the club.

Every year the club does this and every year juventus utterly refuse to take any involvement form LFC. The end.

peopel were actually convicted in the end though you'd question the level.
I honestly have no idea why you want to conflate 3 entirely separate items and talk about secrecy where none exists but just perhaps and DARKLY all your articles on paris thus far have been leading up to this?

Can’t really blame them, to be fair. That’s not a sleight on Liverpool, though.

Surprised it took this long for someone to say this. It's a big old plaque outside Anfield, and there's one in Brussels too.

Essentially because fans of other clubs don’t know LFC do this every year quietly and respectfully they assume nothing is done. It’s not even hard to look up.
Most stadium disasters get little attention, it's only Hillsborough that really gets any and that's mainly because of the cover up.
A dark day in European football and an embarrassment for English fans. 39 people travelled to see their team compete in the European Cup final, never to be seen by their families again. Let us all hope such a disaster never happens again.
RIP 39 Juventus supporters.
So - mu52.
Considering you now know that the club does mark the occasion every year and has a large plaque outside Anfield to commemorate it - are you willing to accept that you're wrong in saying this is a secret?
A secret would indicate a willingness on the club's part to cover up what happened, this is more just a bit of ignorance.
Why is it rarely mentioned?
----------------------------------
Just because YOU don't hear about it, doesn't mean it is a secret, or kept in secrecy. Your question is a fallacy. I didn't hear about it, so it must be a secret.

He’s asking about the situation, and you are getting all uppity about him having not done any research. Have a day off.
When and where has Lawro say it was a secret let me ask (I can't find anything to that effect), as research only says him saying why is it never talked about, which is very different.
