The melt down from some spurs and united fans is funny 😂

At least United and spurs can now fight over paying 50+ million for an Everton striker.

Spurs at least seem like they trying to improve. Only chance united have of a trophy atm is at the comedy awards 😂

I think I’ve read this entire thread ….melt downs from spurs fans …..zero

Unless I’ve missed a comment or two I don’t think any Tottenham fan has said anything ?

Another thing for Liverpool fans to consider is that in the Primeira Liga, Núñez played as a central striker in Veríssimo’s 4-4-2 and 4-2-3-1.

Whenever he went with a three man attack, Núñez almost always played either LWF or at inside left wide of the nine.

And that’s where a lot of his goals came from this season, particularly early on, including in the routs of Santa Clara, Belenenses, Famalicao and Marítimo.

Against deep defences, he’ll likely be a fantastic asset from the left.

Benfica play against a lot of deep and packed defenses in Portugal, no?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Probably not as often as Liverpool do in the PL, actually. But most weeks, yeah.

It's rather amusing to think., If Man-united had signed Nunez. It would be the opposite. 0rgasms a-rus. Just like when they signed Sancho

I reckon ETH gets a tune out of Sancho you know (who personally I rate).

Yeah maybe he can. Can’t see ETH being there for too long though.

Hmmm not sure, I think he could do well for you but it's all about players really and the fact there is such stiff competition for signatures doesn't help Utd.

You've a couple of youth players already on the books that could surprise a few. Get some form out of Sancho and all of a sudden draws become wins.

You need three transfers to work out very well I feel. It can change an awful lot.

I don’t think Sancho is that good, he’d need others to turn up too, which hopefully ETH will manage to get done. I just have this feeling that he’s not going to last all ,that long.

I like Sancho a lot (although there are question marks over his attitude apparently) but he has crazy balance, brilliant feet and as good a turn of pace as there is over 10 yards, which is all he needs.

But I do feel he is a system player and ETH is a system manager and that's why I think he will be the main beneficiary of his appointment.

ETH made Tadic look brilliant.

He’s actually looked quite slow in the league, but he does have great balance and touch. I just don’t think he’s as good as talked up to be, though I do expect him to improve under ETH, sh hopefully we’ll see much better from him

De Jong is a strange one really, another lightweight attack minded midfielder when it’s been blatantly obvious for years that United need a CDM. No idea how Ten Hag supposedly plans to get him, Fernandes and Van De Beek into the same team, although I’ll very happy to see it happen for sure.

Not expecting it to happen though as De Jong is another player that doesn’t want to join United.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Might do. Don’t think barca rate him that much, and we’ll come in with two Rolex’s on each arm, cash hanging out of our pockets and then wonder why he cost 90m…
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep pretty much, the way it’s being reported so far is that it sounds like Barca are practically dropping him off at the airport with his ticket while the player has filled his bags with narcotics to get himself stopped at departures.

He’ll probably be a good signing for Liverpool, they tend to do well signing strikers. Luckily for us it saves us having to watch him turn into Lukaku at Old Trafford. Win win for both.

I think it's cos they've promised Lewa a deal and then left him hanging after agitating a move, cos the leagues told em they gotta sell loads first.
