Trophies are the default Bin Dipper retort, hell lets face it, trophies are the main reason most of them jumped on the bandwagon all those years ago. They are the saddest and most pathetic fanbase there is those Saltypudlians
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Personally I jumped on the bandwagon due to our uncanny ability to bribe refs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
think if you joke about it, it disguise your favours from VAR and officials?

Don't think you're fooling Billy like that

One has to bust a nut to just get 60 minutes in a team packed with attacking talent.
===============
What a dim and stupid thing to say? Kane, Son and Kulu aren't an attacking talent? Bergwijn and Lucas not an attacking talent?
Kulu walked in and never looked back because he is a real talent with the right attributes to handle PL strong and direct.

Kulu has been the best Jan transfer since VvD for me.

The stats show that. Nothing to say.
----------------------------

Even u must realise Diaz had to work far harder to get in a team that lost 2 league games and got to 3 finals. Kulu walks in the spurs team.

Diaz achieved far more than kulu. The stats show that. I'm not saying kulu is bad , just Diaz was fighting to get in a team competing at a far higher bar, with a realistic chance of winning every comp.

Kulu plays for spurs and even when he isn't having a good game Conte leaves him on. Diaz plays well for Liverpool and there's still a high chance he's coming off after 60 minutes. Why? Not cos he's bad but cos klopp can, and Liverpool have a game in 3 days in a dif comp they could win.

Kulu stood out in the second half of the season in a front line that had this years golden boot winner, last years golden boot winner and last years top assister - I mean that is the sternest of competition.

Who was the last player to sign to a Prem club in January only to go on to record 13 goal contributions?

Dude, don't you see you are not making sense?
There is no stat in the PL that could show Diaz had better impact than Kulu in terms, of goals scored and assists - these are key factors in a player affecting games in PL

Diaz goals 4 and assists 3
Kulu goals 5 and assists 8

One cost a fraction of the other so better impact for the cost. That is Kulu

Don’t get me wrong - we looked mugs for laying all the ground work for Liverpool only for them to come in and pinch Diaz.

But boy am I glad it worked out that way, you can just see Kulu is far better suited to the Prem than Diaz and the stats back that up.

Add in Nunez too and we’re have 5 attacking options given Mane is off.

yeah I was going to say let's just agree to disagree, as it is hard to argue with bin dippers, the most stubborn B*stards

Don't worry about the gap...It is too large for us to even get closer

Worth a cheeky bid on Mane in my view, he seems hell bent to leave you

Players from the Portuguese league take to the Premiership more than any other player, but for every Ronaldo you get a Postiga.

I’m not worried about Nunez from a Tottenham perspective due to how we play but he will probably make a mug of United and Chelsea.

its a risk but we've played him twice and hes impressed vs us, we arent portuguese league opposition, hes also had good games vs other CL teams.

Guys got the Uruguayan fight about him hes not portuguese like Ronaldo and Postiga btw also hes only spent 2 years if that there he moved to spain first. Hes got all the skill assets to be suited to the prem, he works hard and intensely hes big quick strong and skillful. 22 and under a coach like Klopp he should kick on after an outstanding season for Benfica.

We took Vinicius on loan from them a couple of years back after he finished their top scorer with 25 goals - including Champions league goals. Big, Strong, quick.

Scored zero Prem goals.

when he played vs us i thought the same as i did when i saw Diaz play vs us, baller. another exciting signing if we get him.

Price is steep but with utd offering silly wages and stuff i doubt we had much negotiating room. Also they got a silly amount from AM for Felix? 126m euro? so maybe its not so big a fee anyway.

idr seeing vinicius pre spurs but he scored 1 prem goal and 10 in 22 for spurs?

And why were they willing to loan him? you think theyd be up for loaning nunez?

Spurs finished the season well. They had 1 comp to focus in and still had 2 games with no shots on target at all. Zero. Kulu doesn't have the same level of competition. It's silly to say he does 😂 he walks in spurs team.

Diaz was rarely playing a full game cos Liverpool have a team of world class forwards not just 2. Not sure how that's hard to grasp. Sure kulu was playing well helping spurs get top 4 with a pretty easy run in. Getting into a team breaking 90 points, and losing 2 games all season, is a different level. Especially when u know u rarely get a full game cos another world class striker is coming on.

Look at grealish. Tore it up stat wise when he played in a worse team focusing on 1 comp. Goes to city and its another level just to get in the team. And he cost 100m. Same for kulu at Juve. He will grow at spurs but I think some are over doing for a guy that hasn't won anything.

Spurs might get there but the bar isn't there yet. Diaz hasn't even lost a PL game and has 2 trophies, winning motm in facup final. Not even kane and son have done that in years.

That 10 in 22 was against absolute fodder, 3 were in the FA cup against Marine, the rest were Europa group stage minnows.

The loan to us if I remember rightly came with a £50m buy option. Their fans were going mental at the time but they had just changed manager and wanted to change system - one of the players they brought in was Nunez.

Let’s wait and see

Kulu has won trophies at Juve despite still being very young.

It’s uncanny the way he has come to a new country, new league, new team at 22 and slotted straight in. A team that is the 4th best in England last season and third best under Conte’s tenure.

You say he has no competition, but Bergwijn and Lucas provide that.

The really impressive thing though was how he stood out playing alongside the golden boot winners of the last two seasons, the top assister the season before and what is statistically the Premier Leagues most prolific partnership of all time.

Think Spurs and Kulu are in for a good season

This is a lot of background noise which doesn't answer who's had more impact as a Jan signing between Diaz and Kulu. Just some waffle on clubs, and records. You could have put Pukki from Norwich and said the same waffle about Pukki winning the title?

End of the day, Kulu has better stats than Diaz, and player v player he is the better deal.
