Kulu or Diaz..Not really bothered who is better,,As long as Kulu keeps turning it on for us then that will do for me. Without Kulu's impact on the right, we are below Arsenal in the league..Period.
From the depths of where we have been in the past few years qualifying for the CL is like winning the damn thing! Honestly never thought I'd be seeing that for a long time.

As for Nunez, Am afraid he is worth every penny and one I'd hoped we have gone for a few years ago. Could see his potential then and he is top quality. Sorry to say but Pool doing things the right way..Its not about buying a job lot but spending money on top quality. What we should have done when Poch was at the helm..
And btw, Richarlision if reports are true for £51mill is a steal although Cant see Everton selling the caant for that price.

Richarlison spends more time on his ass than on his feet , he will ruin some of your puritan fans who are obsessed with fare play

He is one of the worst at it and I hope that he cuts it out if he joins us.

Kane's crumpling under any sort of pressure became annoying but now he largely stays on his feet but will 'buy' a foul every now and then when its needed.

I think with Richarlson he played in such a cack team that falling over and winning a foul was viewed as the best opportunity to create a chance or needed to relieve pressure.

Kane could be double figures for pens next season

We can do better than Richarlison, we’re talking about breaking our transfer record for a guy who won’t automatically start - that has me worried as that is essentially what Ndombele became.

I get Richarlison is prem proven, but I can’t help but think there are better options out there like Jesus, Raphina (would massively prefer him) even Lingaard on a free.

He is also a horrible cheat, although admittedly playing for Everton these last couple of years your only real chance of a goal is from a set piece so I can see why he was diving a lot

My preferred would be Martinez from Inter but Richarlson is a very decent option IMO as he can play through the middle or from the left.

He's a 1 in 3 type of striker which is decent for someone at Everton who are mid table and struggled for a few seasons.. Jesus' stats are only slightly better playing for City.

Not sure I'd want to pay £60m for either.

As for 'automatically start' we are not buying someone to replace any of the front three. You have to consider 4 + Lucas as the strike force that will share the many games this coming season and for all 4 to be interchangeable.

I do not think there are many out there who could play from the left effectively or replace Kane, should he be injured, rested, subbed. Richarlson obvs not at Kanes quality but a very decent, adaptable alternative.

I just think for a bit more money we could get Raphina and add serious quality to the squad. If Eriksen comes in as well then those 2 transfers give us so many more options.

Oh well, whoever Conte wants, if it’s Richarlison then so be it

It'll surprise you to find out that I suspect Kulu may drop off a bit next season while Diaz gets stronger.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No suprise at all , you are a Liverpool fan

Can I ask why you think that though ? From what I was watching Kulu was getting stronger the more he played , he did get an illness towards the end of the season though but bounced back from that

I’m not saying Diaz won’t get stronger by the way just interested to know why you think Kulu will ‘drop off’
---------------

Nothing to do with being a Liverpool fan.

A few reasons. Firstly it's quite common that once a new player has had a few videos completed on them players are better prepared to combat their style. Now you could say the same about Diaz but he has pace, which as a genuine asset, Kulu doesn't really have.

Secondly Diaz played an awful lot of football last season, one of the highest amounts in Europe.

Thirdly the language, I suspect Diaz would take longer to settle in.

Lastly Spurs will be in Europe this time and as such Kulu will not be as fresh for league games.

Lastly Klopp. It has happened repeatedly that players take a long time to adapt to his system, as such I expect him to kick on more.

Makes me laugh when people say “is proven in the Premier League” when talking about potential signings like if they’ve not played in the prem then they won’t make it. Henry, Drogba, Augero, Suarez etc to name a few. Not saying Nunez will be better than them by the way
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This!

It’s like clubs only mainly buy from other PL clubs because buying from abroad is too much risk

Raphina doesnt help us if Kane needs a rest or Son or either get injured.

Whoever we get needs to be able to play across the front line.

Raphina is a you tube highlights player who would struggle with the demands of a Conte team.

Wow.. that’s totally crazy!!

Nunez has never played in a decent league..

This reminds me of Vincent Jansen… top scorer in the Dutch league, with over 30 goals… but rubbish in the premier league…

Then there’s Helder Postiga… best striker in the Portuguese league at the time… look how that turned out!

Liverpool probably panicked, when they learned that Man Utd were supposedly interested!!

He's had 1 good season so it's a hell of a lot if money to discover whether that's a flash in the pan or whether his previous seasons total of 4 goals is more representative

It could work out but boy is it a big risk from LFC which isnt like them .

Alisson had only played one season at Roma,

I trust our set up and reckon he's going to be a proper handful.

posted on 14/6/22

He will be a massive flop in all probability, but does it matter to a financially doped and chequebook club like Liverpool. Trying to buy the league like City and Chelsea.
