For the life of me I can't understand why MA and AA didn't come forward sooner. We are losing season ticket money and players are leaving when we could have got some money for them.
I think AA had to try to raise money from others.
MA was waiting to see if he could pay as little as possible.
AA, I think has forced his hand I believe.
I hope AA backs out now.
It's being reported that Malcolm has has a medical at Palace, ready for a 5 year deal.
Shan Masood has been called up for the Pakistan test squad for their test series v Sri Lanka.
Well deserved but unfortunate for Derbys, when all has been going so well
Shame about Malcolm if true.
It now seems that Quantuma have submitted details of bidders to EFL so something may be happening at last!!!???

Guess so, UT, the test series starts next month, I think.
Maybe I'm being a bit naive but it seems to me certain players can't wait to leave. OK I accept Allsop as a 30 year old has family responsibilities... but really players like Plange and Ebiowei going to Palace and Festy going to Udinese to languish in their reserve teams is a bit naive on them...if WR hadn't given them a opportunity they'd still be in our U23s. Loyalty ....what loyalty. UTR
Heads turned by money i'm afraidTerry
Yes, you are being naive Terry. It's career progression for these players to move to a club higher up, a stable Premiership club. They won't languish in their reserves. If they aren't ready for the first team they will be loaned out to a Championship team where their development is likely to be quicker than if they were getting clattered by a Neanderthal centre half in League 1 twice a week.
I don't see it as an absence of loyalty. Clubs don't renew contracts of players they don't want to keep and we don't talk of those clubs not showing loyalty to players. It's just how it is. Had the takeover been sorted out long ago I do think it might have been different for players like Allsopp but how long are they supposed to hang on for? Deadline after deadline has been missed and they and we are still waiting. We have no choice, but they do.
Spot on Vidal they all pulled there weight last season, and to have to live life not knowing if you going to get paid or even have a job takes it toll..
I don't attach any blame there.

Quite agree Vidal, fans have loyalty, players have to make a living in a career where one injury can mean a sudden end. No one should blame a player or manager for moving job.
Kirchner has a lot to answer for, I just hope he does get caught dabbling in some of Scouses Colombian marching powder
I won't forget in a hurry the wonderful efforts of the players last season. Under the most trying of circumstances I thought they were heroic to a man and that won't be tainted by what they choose to do from now on, for me at least.

And of course all 606ers
Are we all piling down to vidal's gaff for pre-match drinks and canapés on 16th August?
