Either way, I can't see why he'd pick up over other suitors, would be a strange step down for a player who'd have the pick of most top CL sides depending on wage demands.

I haven't seen much of Gnabry at Bayern but apparently he's been excellent.
Stats wise, not everyone can have loads of goals or assists at Bayern I guess. Where as with us most of the burden is currently on a couple of young players.

Depends if what he wants completely breaks their wage structure. Can understand clubs setting sensible limits even if they're a Goliath like Bayern (could mean their other stars require bumps and eventually they end up like Barca)
My position is why would you want to block the development of 3 top wide players who are already proving capable in the premier league. There was some assurance with Raphinha though I thought he was a luxury as well when we should be targeting a different type of forward.

a) How many times have you seen Arteta use the squad?
b) How would sitting on the bench improve Marti, ESR or Saka?
c) Marti is a future 9. Saka a no. 10 and so is ESR. If anything if you want to change the system we could do with a Gakpo (who is very similar to RVP). Not sure Gnabry provides anything more than what we already have. Keep in mind Jesus/Eddie can also both play wide. And then there is Marquinhos who is a complete wild card.
Don't get me wrong here. I wished Wenger never sold Gnabry. But to bring him back with all the talent already in the squad just seems an immense waste of money and nothing more than a duplication of skills we have in the squad.
