22m euros I think, but still brilliant deal
Good 6/7months for us brining in over 40m in transfer fees
22 million euros and 5 million in add ones so will likely be worth £22 million. The sell on could be decent if true. 10% of any profit from future sell on. Bump it up another few million

Yea brilliant deal.
You’d imagine Ajax is the perfect place for him to develop his passing and technique, which is probably the only thing he’s not improved that much so could easily see a profit down the line
Picked up for £250k. Nearly kicked out of club for COVID party. Started season as back up left back. Finished motm in uefa league final.
Will basically match the Tierney deal, will be great for future transfers from our league if he does well. Aberdeen doing well on the Ramsey deal too.
We seem to be the league to buy young full backs from
Funny that I thought no one would bid for our players 🤔
The admin predicters will be foaming at mouth
I'm foaming at the mouth at this news.

That's just a wee bit of self pity sweetie
Has to be one of the biggest Returns On Investments in Scottish football history given the paltry sum paid, the short time he was here and the minimal wage he would have been on as well
Didn't see much of him, looked powerful, was he a big part of yer team chaps?
Nice bit of business, fair play 👍

Only in the second half of the season when we had so many injured CB.
Went from back up LB to undroppable CB and motm in the euro final in a few months.
He is a tank, has all the attributes to go to the top and Ajax is certainly the best place to go to develop his skills

cheers, it's important to reinvest the cash now
The one thing I don’t get……but isn’t this a sideways step? Ajax, great club…….but it ain’t a great league. I’m not sure I really understand the move. Fair enough if Brighton were involved at not the same level as Ajax……but I’d class Ajax the same as Rangers. Big club small league! I’m just not sure it’s a great career move ?
He was unbelievable last few months of season, back to back man of match performances in the cup finals. Some great games in Europe and the Scottish cup semi thought he was particularly good too, pressing high.
But funnily doesn’t seem a massive loss given his rise was so quick. With Barisic at left back and Souttar at centre back we are still in good shape there, ideally gets us a new lb and a left footed cb though, and a new gk would be massive but don’t see that

Think ajax are renowned for buying you players, keeping them year or two then selling on to bigger leagues.
Bassey might end up with a top 6 club from England, Italy or Spain next.

I think it’ll be good for him, his technique and passing is the one that thing that he still needs to develop to really get to the top.
And no where better to improve on that, training with better players, still a better league, Champions league, smart move I think
That’s a significant part of the debt wiped out now so this is a perfect deal and perfect time to cash in.
Apparently it’s the most Ajax will have ever paid for a defender.
If Rangers can qualify for the CL groups we’ll be in a very healthy position.

Debt? Are the directors definitely taking cash back?
The Patterson deal would’ve covered the loans they gave anyway, never mind Europe, improved commercials, cash for Gerrard/Aribo/Bassey
That’s a significant part of the debt wiped out now so this is a perfect deal and perfect time to cash in.

I don’t even think there was a substantial debt, if any. There were trading losses of course, all as forecasted by the club, but these were then covered by directors and converted to shares
