Also I must say it was nice to see both fullbacks combine to create the goal. How often can we say we've seen that in years gone by?

This sounds familiar

Not seen Rashford involved at all yet. Sancho looks dangerous and Martial has been lively. The creativity and ball retention really does just lack from the middle of the pitch. It’s obvious and ETH is clearly wanting to sort it out. Just so much in the importance on whether we get FDJ or not.

Ooohh. I’m liking Rashfords work rate. He looks very fast. But things still not happening for him…

There's some nice little signs in the attacking third. Sancho & Dalot are looking lively and linking up well down the right. Martial looks like he has something to prove.

We just lack a natural conductor in the middle of the park (like FDJ).

Malacia whips in a decent corner.

Sancho is beating players for fun this pre season from standing starts to make space to get a cross or cut back in.

Annoying that the shoulder stripes on the new away kit are red and black, but the stripes on the shorts are all black.

've been listening mostly but watched the last ten and I am impressed.

Definitely seeing an improvement.

Although I didn't like hearing the commentator say that Maguire pinged his first pass into touch haha

Sancho looks less chubby, makes a difference to that standing start sprint

In fairness to the players, a lot of them if not all of them look to be in terrific shape. Some have clearly done more than usual in the gym/training off season ready for the fresh start under a new manager.

Looking forward to Sancho this season, seems a little less nervous, which is to be expected.

So sometimes it’s just the little things, that would make us so devastating.
There was a passage of play, with Malacia picking the ball up in midfield. He passes to Bruno, who has his back to goal, so, one or two things are gonna happen.

Bruno isn’t gonna take an extra touch. He’s either passing backwards, or he’s gonna flick it sideways for a quick 1-2.
Bruno saw McT was to his left, and went for the 1-2, McT, to slow to read it, and didn’t move.

Now surely you’ve been doing that in training. We’ve seen the vids of the quick one touch passing.
It’s game intelligence like that he doesn’t possess.
And it will ultimately cost us.
