So sometimes it’s just the little things, that would make us so devastating.
There was a passage of play, with Malacia picking the ball up in midfield. He passes to Bruno, who has his back to goal, so, one or two things are gonna happen.

Bruno isn’t gonna take an extra touch. He’s either passing backwards, or he’s gonna flick it sideways for a quick 1-2.
Bruno saw McT was to his left, and went for the 1-2, McT, to slow to read it, and didn’t move.

Now surely you’ve been doing that in training. We’ve seen the vids of the quick one touch passing.
It’s game intelligence like that he doesn’t possess.
And it will ultimately cost us.

I saw that and said someone should definitely be on the overlap there. Others just blamed Bruno for passing to nobody.

I think if you offered him a bench position and another title or 10 more goals in the CL for Atleti, for example, with no trophy, I'd say he takes the latter.

Goal any good?

Good half that. Could have had a couple more goals. Malacia looked good on the ball and all the forwards looked lively.

Wonder if he’ll keep some players on for 60/70 minutes now or maybe the Villa game to start building for the Brighton game. Be good to see Iqbal/Savage get a chance with the rest of the first team rather than a completely new XI.

It was actually him, and not Malacia that played the ball to Bruno.
Sure Bruno’s short pass wasn’t accurate to McT, but McT was flat footed.
Need to be on yer toes at that point. You have to factor that the ball isn’t gonna be 100% to yer feet.

The issues with him are when it's going the other way, be interesting to see when we are under pressure
