Good afternoon fellow Rams. Feeling elated that we still have a club and as always, optimistic that we will have a good season once the players start to gel. Come on You Rams đđđđ

Vidal, can you ask the town elders why they didn't put a station/platform at the new Shrewsbury ground?
Bleeding track runs right next to the ground and it's a right trek from the station!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We’re playing at home …
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not on 16th August we're not, Fin.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Doing a dry run then?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry Fin, you’ve lost me, (not difficult)!

I know that Igor usually runs the Derby 606 "Outreach" programme. Was expecting someone to extend the hand of friendship to our new friends in League One. View has put the thread on the Oxford board but they don't seem to have one of their own.........
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Popped over to the Bolton match thread to wish them all the best. đ
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't like Bolton cuz their fans threw rotten eggs at me at Burnden Park in 1967. What a smell!
It was just after the Summer of Love, not that I got much, I don't think it got to Derbyshire.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I was at that game, can't remember any rotten eggs though. Maybe they knew you were a Tory.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Almost choked on my banana loaf
200 before ko would be an achievement, and not even a sniff of Dixie
I need team news before predicting.........

Me too. Thanks for reminding me, Heb
Derby County: Wildsmith, Hourihane, Cashin, Barkhuizen, Bird, Collins, Mendez-Laing, Smith, Roberts, Davies (C), Knight.
Substitutes: Loach, Forsyth, Thompson, Sibley, Stearman, Stretton, Oduroh.
Blimey … no Lawrence, Buchanan, Byrne, Bielik, Morrison, Ebiowie, Ebosele, Allsop …
I miss the days of when on social media they'd announce the team news in the order of their position.
Surprised to see Cashin selected instead of Stearman.

Matty Taylor is a good striker at this level, of the thinking that two senior pros would keep Oxford quiet. I guess Cashin offers more pace at the back than Stearman would?
