Well good luck to him. It hasn't worked out for us because of injury, but that's not his fault. That's just how it goes sometimes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We seem to have rather bad luck with expensive defensive midfielders.
So looking on twitter...we are still paying some of Bielik's wages. I can't understand why.
No one willing to pay the full 100% I guess. Brum may have offered the better package to Derby. Why pay all if you can get the player for 50- 70% the salary?
Agree about the bad luck with expensive DM. We should stick to free transfer ones, Shinnie did alright. Actually, have we signed any Scots this close season as our possible rough diamonds to follow in the footsteps of Russell, Bryson and Shinnie?
I didn't know Jeff Hendrick had joined Reading.
* Add Chris Martin to that list too!

In view of the Poland manager's comments and Bielik's injuries I think it makes sense to loan him out although I'm very surprised Birmingham is his destination. What really gets me is that it's for the whole season. Why not make it until Xmas? WCup will be over and Bielik's situation could be reviewed and if all looking good we could recall him.

Hi Chicago....Well it makes me wonder about the conditions of the loan because according to LR he's still out injured....so if Brum play him and he develops yet another even worse injury do we suppose he'll come straight back here to recover. He's a good player but sadly like George Thorne before him an injury liability....

Was bro, but July turned into an expensive month what with the 3 day festival that cost me a fortune +++ other stuff.
Deffo August, either home game against Barnsley or P’boro as my ones will be in France and my money is finally my own đ
Struggling to get excited about the new season. So few games to make my pulse a bit faster, no real derbies, clubs with main stands like bus shelters, away supporters arriving in a taxi. Oh Mel what have you done.

What ya all think of the new kit, I really like the home one for the first time in ages, the rest meh but always better to see up close and personal.
Home shirt's growing on me, but need to see it in full splendour.
Might be a bit 'busy' when we have a shirt sponsor as well
Well I'm very excited that we are back in action and am really looking forward to it. It's just great to have a match to go to when it was looking so bleak. I think it will be fun travelling to poky little grounds, as long as it isn't for more than a season or two and I expect that many away team will be like Oxford today and bring a lot of fans. I hope we can keep up the positivity of last season and not expect too much too soon.
