Back in the day there weren't that many games played in August as there are now and they were usually towards the end of August. 46 games and international breaks have meant that the season starts earlier. So can't think why we would ever have played in July.

Morning View, morning all. Yes, you'd think the game was today judging by the 70 odd comments already written. Well first things first : View, sorry, but you HAVE to carry on with your match threads....we would all miss your wit and repartee wouldnt we....and for me, nobody does it better mate.
So, Pre season. Really difficult to comment on because we were trying to get a new team together with many players lagging behind our competitors in terms of fitness and togetherness. Anyway, the real games start tomorrow. I think it's important that we dont lose. If it's a win, it's a bonus. I think we need another forward as Strett hasnt yet stepped up sufficiently, also Kwaku atm isnt the answer to our needs at RB.
Win, lose or draw let's get behind the team and roar them on no matter what. We are Derby, and once a Ram always a Ram. Cheers. Terry. UTR

Ang/Scouse, I am a teacher providing academic training to oil and gas trainees at at the National Industrial Training Institute. The contract is for one year, with an option to extend for a further year, hence the phrase "rolling contract". Camels in this part of the world are used for eating, racing, trading and slowly slowly for tourist rides.I appreciate your inquisitive good humour boys....
