You want inept politicians? Just take a look at our shower. I mean Leo varadkar is one of the worst ever
Then we’ll have SF in power after the next election
I'm quite fortunate in that I can afford this, but many others can't and quite obviously nobody in power gives a shiiiite.

Do Ireland still want Northern Ireland back? Where do I sign?
A lot of people’s combined fuel bills will be higher than their rent/mortgage payments, with future interest rate rises on the cards something will have to give, low earners will struggle to cover those along with council tax, that’s before luxuries like food and clothing, food banks won’t be able to cope with demand

Tory Britain.
WONT SOMBODY PLEASE THINK OF THE SHAREHOLDERS.
Can't you just turn your heating down FFS?
Edward, I personally have not got a clue how myself and my wife will be paying our Electricity and Gas Bill's come October, let alone January. Contrary to popular opinion us Pensioners do not all have gold plated private pensions to fall back on.
I have decided to cut back big time. Holidays are out now. Also other than the Fulham match, I won't be trying to get tickets for a while. The tickets are not to expensive, but the travel costs are. My sports packages have all been cancelled.
You have to make the best of life, but right now it is grim. And it is going to get worse.

I'm already paying £310. It went up last month from £177. Going to be £500 minimum for me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That would be half of my state pension.
Wait until mortgage rates rises kick in, the sheite will really hit the fan.
Millions like myself have spent years working to save and save and trying to make life easier for their family (or themselves) never borrowed a penny other than my mortgage, now could be forced into debt and business will go through hard time too, I predict.
We're using logs all winter, turning everything off, driving as little as possible, even missing out on seeing family more (I live in a rural place) and still MASSIVE bills for everything. It's getting to breaking point and this winter will put millions into poverty.
We're talking from the poorest to those have been comfortable for years.
I was on a work zoom call a few weeks back and we were just talking about the fact that the government's plans to essentially stop workers unions and remove their right to strike. One woman shouted "Good". I didn't say anything as I was at work and had to remain professional but to be honest, I could have throttled the feckin' beatch. What have we come to as a country when the people don't support the rights of people? Sure, it's an inconvenience but if it weren't for unions you would have minimum wage, holiday pay, weekends off and many, many more privileges. It's astonishing that people can't see that what Mick Lynch is doing isn't just fighting for his group, he's fighting for all of us. If you remove the right to protest, the right to strike and the right to fight against injustice, how on earth can you change the status quo?
Prices going up in Wetherby Whaler too.

There's strong rumours that many are planning on cancelling their direct debits as a protest against it. Let's be clear on this. This has nothing to do with the economy as the companies themselves are pocketing record profits. Fuel companies are exploiting the war in Ukraine to hold us all hostage in the full knowledge that their biggest competitior - Gazprom, a Russian provider, no longer supply the rest of Europe. When the competition disappears you can charge what you want.
It's daylight feckin robbery. We're on the edge of civil war in this country and the government are sleepwalking us into it. This winter will be the breaking point for many and there's only so much you can take before you fight back. Unions will rise (if they're still allowed by then), people will fight and the economy will hit the floor. We're on the verge I think of the most catastrophic point in our history. The Tories, Covid, Brexit and War. The four horsemen of the apocalypse.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Absolutely spot on. Something big is coming down the line. Nurses are now ballotting to go strike.
It is just not sustainable for the Tories to just ignore or the problems mounting up, without there being some kind of uprising by the populice.
You can't claim global warming exists then complain about being cold. It's one or the other, can't be both. The world's gone soft
