The OP is right though in that this needs to be done in small steps and it has to start from the back. We can’t have Dave carry on the way he is. He gives the rest of the defence no confidence.
Shaw has to be dropped and for now Varane has to partner Maguire.
Dalot needs to be dropped. AWB is a better defender than him and is not any worse at crossing the ball.
Hopefully we will see some midfield reinforcements coming soon.

I’m happy to agree… I just hope that maguire can play his way out of this spiral of low confidence. I can’t see it happening without some time on the sidelines but let’s see.

I think it’s fair to say that when Maguire joined we all had high hopes. The deterioration that we have all witnessed has been nothing short of cataclysmic. He’s obviously not good enough any more but also has lost all confidence and doesn’t know how to get back feeling good about playing football. It’s hard to fall so far. Doesn’t make it any easier for the fans mind…

Yes we were all fooled, apart from the leceister fans who were over the moon to be rid of him.
Another positive is we're unbeaten in second halves this season and haven't conceded a goal in them!
We don't play you until October...are you still planning to to be dog sheite then...
