wonder how often mo farah trained, different level though i suppose, bursts, twists turns etc.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Usually towards the end of a programme for the marathon you wanna be getting in 1 long distance run per week. the furtherst you should running in the final weeks is about 20 mile usually do that. your rest day follows that long run.... every day you should be getting in some miles in the legs 3-5 miles per day
----------------------------------------------------------------------
“You don’t train for a marathon by running marathons.”

My dad.

Mind you, he also thinks taking off your shoes makes you a better singer, so I dunno.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
technically he is correct you will never actually run 26 miles in one run during your training. the furthest you should do is about 20mile before you start tapering the training off

Cost ourselves last night with conceding at two corners.

First one was lucky for them but the second was awful defending.

Still feel we can get through but can see it going ET/Penalties.

I know he is. He’s done about 6 or 7 of them.

The only fear more impressive is how often he can shoehorn that fact into a conversation.

It’s also when Rangers concede. They seem to have a bad habit of not seeing games out.

I mean, anecdotally. No way I’m going to actually look that up to see if it’s true.

i think you will find PSV cost themselves by having a goaly who made a horror of a simple shot.

yeah its apparently the most scenic marathon n the world. Its also one of the toughest, there is one section of uphill thats right at the beginning of the race that lasts about 2miles, thats just kills your legs ... the perfect start. But yeah the first half of the run is breathtaking.... literally

They should run it in the other direction then so you're running downhill the first two miles.

Honestly, what do these people even get paid for?

I’m sure you’ll still enjoy it. We had a cracking night, and although the result went against us still enjoyed the game.

Just don’t get your hopes up about the stadium. It wasn’t even seats we had-just bits of plastic bolted to the concrete with no backs on them.

Some goal Kaka scored that night to put us out. Ran from his own half. Everyone was screaming to just foul him well away from our goal-he just glided past players though.
