Great comment which should be appreciated.

Surely we need depth? 6 players for 3 positions seems sensible and we’d only have that if we keep Elanga and Pellistri.

When we play in Yorkshire though we'll need to be very careful of the side of Marsch.

Some good work here.

he needs to learn to stop running straight into players when he has the ball. Either way, he should stay as a squad player, unless Garnacho is seen as the backup option.

Elanga is a strange one. At times he looks a very good player and at times he looks like a pub player as was evident on Monday.

I don’t see the sense is loaning him out, he’s good enough to be paying for us imo.

He isn’t. But he’ll help as a squad player over having nothing.

He played a big part in us running rampant against Liverpool in that first 25 minutes.

He's only 20 and only just come on the scene, was one of the few bright sparks of last season. I think people are writing him off WAY too soon.

He’s good enough to keep and use through the season when rotation is needed. As proven on Monday, helped set the goal up and gave Trent a tough game. He’s also inconsistent and sometimes garbage though, that’s why we need better for the first eleven.

If we’re letting Ronaldo go, and Elanga, we need 2 new forwards and even then we’d be light. Maybe Garnacho will get some minutes in the cups or off the bench once the first team is settled.

If Ronaldo leaves and Antony, as expected, now comes in we'll have:

Rashford
Martial
Antony
Sancho

for the front three positions so we can't leave ourselves too light really. Elanga offers cover across the front and, more importantly I suppose at present, seems happy to buy into what ETH wants from his attackers.

*I should have added above 'as senior options'.

Of course we have the likes of Pellistri and Garnacho as well who could be used.

Gakpo looked worse last night than Elanga did vs Liverpool and he was playing a bunch of Irn Bru farmers.

We'll get Depay as we'll have to take him as part of the De Jong deal...

I’d like to see Garnacho get games in the Carabao and EL. He looks a real talent.
