Gakpo looked worse last night than Elanga did vs Liverpool and he was playing a bunch of Irn Bru farmers.

My sources tell me the Gak purposely played badly for two reasons
1) He wanted us to pay a cheaper fee so tanked the tie
2) Ten Hag wanted to troll PSV so told Gak he’d only sign him if he humiliated PSV one more time

If Ronaldo leaves and Antony, as expected, now comes in we'll have:
Rashford
Martial
Antony
Sancho
for the front three positions so we can't leave ourselves too light really. Elanga offers cover across the front and, more importantly I suppose at present, seems happy to buy into what ETH wants from his attackers.

Bottom line: when he’s fit, he scores goals.
21 goals and 4 assists in 25 starts in Ligue Un last season.
He is currently out with a muscle injury.
That basically sums his entire career up.
Our medical staff will sort that out no problem.
Would be useful if we could time his injuries to alternate with Martials.

Both training separately, and neither with Phil Jones.
Elanga is a hard working player and has pace, but unfortunately that's all he has. Not good enough for a club that has ambitions to win titles....in the future.

I'd not be against it, he's cracked on since leaving us and would offer something quite different to our current options.
Doesn't seem like Depay to Juventus is going to go through, I think we'll get end up getting him for £10m or less. ETH would probably want him as an option for CF with Martial at that price.
If Elanga is good enough he will make it, players coming in wont affect that.
if he cant oust any new players coming in then he is not good enough to better the team.

Just read that Auba is gonna cost Chelsea £25m! Seems a bit pricey for his age and the fat that Barca want away. Hopefully if we do go in for Depay, your price is closer.
