If max qualifies 1st and is starying 15th then he will get top 4 minimum

Wouldn't read too much into the times in practice sessions...Ferrari are definitely not eight-tenths away from Red Bull, and Mclaren + Aston Martin are never three-tenths ahead of Mercedes.

Ferrari & Mercedes haven't optimised their set-up (and they are playing around with their engine modes), they will in qualifying & race.

Norris 4th & Stroll 5th only goes to show there is alot more pace to come from Mercedes tomorrow

Time for Perez and Sainz to stand up a be counted. Sainz should be all over this, would like to see Perez win it, likeable guy as are most. Savy from RB to take an engine pen at the same time as Charles.

Calm down, I mean there's plenty of races at tracks that have iffy records on human rights etc, all the drivers are in the same boat if they don't boycott them then

There's plenty of things f1 drivers can do to take a stand against things that are wrong but that's a different topic let's just talk racing here

Seems RB have improved their cornering speed and kept straight line speed. Probably besting ferrari all-round now.

Always take practice with a pinch of salt, so many different set ups probably used more so with the 3-4 week break
