I went back sir, no sign of ya but as I dont do selfies or autographs I did wait until McGoldrick came just for a man hug and thank him for making my weekend…..thought he’d never let go 🥱

Just back and relieved with the result. I'm not sure why they had a player sent off, there was an obvious offside, easy 2 yards right in front of where I sit. I felt sorry for him.

I also did not like some supporters booing Marriott, he did stuff Leeds and of course should have started at Wembley.

Did they have someone sent off, news too me.

I think he was subbed before he would be.

Ref was crap but that’s par for the course.

Where is Peeder base?

M1 southbound.

Sadly, about right. Couldn't stay afterwards as no 1 son needs to get back to look after no 1 grandson!

We'll stay overnight on Friday next time!

Deserved to win ... just ... but Posh were decent and we need to move the ball quicker.

Don't like booing ex players ... but glad he went off.

Safe journey home to the travellers ... until next time

Peeder, if you & Igor can give us advanced notice of your intended games, I'll try and pay a visit, trains depending, of course. We could even mention it to Scouse

Would have paid to see that. Hope he's fit for the next game

I'm up for that ... the motel just off the M1 is only £50 a night, which is probably cheaper than heating my house will be soon! I'll stay over on a Friday!

What a brilliant day. I thought we played some terrific stuff first half but then lost our way. For the sending off it looked as though Barkhuizen dived from where I was sitting but I didn't have the clearest view. Even though we made some mistakes in possession I liked the way we kept trying to work it around and it paid off. I see there was a comment here a couple of minutes from time questioning the philosophy of the manager but I think he has got it right. Some days you knock on the door and it just won't open but today it did.

I had Knight man of the match by a mile even before he scored and I was delighted Rosenior heaped huge praise on him in his interview. He was outstanding. I also thought Rosenior was very astute with the subs and with the little tweak late on when he moved Knight into an inside right position further forward with Barkhuizen effectively then playing as an attacking full back. Barkhuizen was very good too in my opinion.

I’d treat yourself to a large VSOP tonight, Vidal.

Any one think Collins will be on the bench next game. I thought him and Forsyth were Posh’s motm. We had a couple of let offs from poor passes from defence. Nice to do to them what they did to us last year.

I don't think Collins will be on the bench. I thought he had his worst game for us today but he does the hard yards that then allows the likes of McGoldrick to shine against a tiring defence. McGoldrick still needs building up to full fitness and sharpness. Dobbin could play centrally but he is a bit lightweight.

Police are looking for a dodgy character of Celtic origin.

Apparently McGoldrick was terrified

No sign from his interview that Liam is ready to 'bench' JC.
He said his work rate was excellent, the goals will come and he does a tremendous amount of work defensively at set pieces. That reminded me of CM, whose defensive contribution was also overlooked.
CM was similarly a target for criticism from some fans, who often called him 'lazy' without seeing the whole picture.

Collins won't be benched for league games yet... but might for Tuesdays EFL trophy.

McGoldrick needs pitch time.

Knight was simply superb.

PS journey home 3.75 hours door to door. Shame about the journey up.

Did you meet Igor?

Collins will come good, of that I am sure. How long ago is it that we had a striker who continually gets himself into the oppo goal area waiting for a short pass or a loose ball to drop? So far they are just not falling his way.

McGoldrick was brilliant but I can't see him starting a league game just yet and anyway he is not a CF. Barkhuisen is a very clever player and I really rate Smith. So calm and thoughtful in all he does with a great passing range. Knight was simply outstanding. 10 out of 10 for me. Can we hold on to him?

I don’t think I ignore Collins’s defensive contributions , Collins does that for me. He was really poor today, doesn’t seem to have any idea of positioning, lacks pace, doesn’t win many aerial battles. Can see why we don’t score very often, he just isn’t much of a threat.

Reflections Rams v Posh

After a dodgy start I felt we grew into the game and largely dominated a lively Posh side who have some good players.

2nd half we seemed to flag... both mentally and physically and at this point Posh scored a sloppy goal. But credit the Rams who stormed back to take the 3 points.

I thought the REF was a bit erratic and was not surprised in the least when he sent off one of their players.

I think Collins works hard but for me doesn't spend enough time in the opposition penalty box. He'll come good though.

Good substitutions and a welcome 3 points after not playing very well as a team.

Have a good Bank Holiday weekend guys. Cheers. Terry. UTR

Just to add ... the noise at both games I've been to this season has been incredible. Last seasons "we fight to the end" mentality has carried on but with an added level of optimism and exuberance. Quite incredible.

Really surprised by the east stand up, seemed to be much louder than the south stand even asking them to sing up.

Super finish to game only added to it.
