I’ve watched every Utd game this season too. So this doesn’t really work. Also differing points. The guy above says chelsea under mourinho were a counter attacking team. Which wasn’t the case.

It's not really an opinion. It's common sense. If you have more of the ball you are not on the counter.

Exactly that. Your two best results this year are from counter attacking football. You can’t rely on that all season against lower league teams. In the games you’ve had more possession you’ve struggled getting slight victories by 1 goal and been beaten.

My apologies I looked at 20/21. Fair enough maybe there have been situations a counter attacking team have won a league. There’s certainly been cl wins doing it. I just don’t think it’s long term sustainable

Memory is a mysterious thing, isn't it?
I have a vivid memory of the finest goal I ever saw live. Zenit St Petersburg at home to fierce rivals Spartak Moscow. Veteran striker Denisov swivelled to volley from the edge of the box, across his body, into the far top corner of the net. Years later I tracked down a video of the goal (camcorder filming a grainy TV screen) and to my surprise found that Denisov was twice as close to the goal as I remembered, and it scuffed his finish. I can still see my idealised version in my mind.

Really poor is OTT, we haven’t been that good either though, somewhere in between is reality.
