Correct wolfie, granted you don't judge our prospects on games against Man City but if we don't sort that out quickly we are going to be in a relegation battle. We're without Collins for three games now so we can't necessarily rely on 1-0s. Hopefully Costa can bring some urgency and will to win to our forward line, we're sorely lacking it at the moment.
Since April 3rd Wolves have scored 4 Premier league goals at Molineux, Man City have scored 8.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
De Bruyne is still the top goalscorer at Molineux this year.
We were wondering after Liverpool battered Bournemouth how long it would take for us to score nine goals.
As the Man City supporters were singing, Haaland has scored more than Wolves this season. And that could be the case for a while, hopefully not the whole season
If West Ham score at Everton tomorrow we will be the lowest scorers in the league
Haaland has scored more than 11 Premier League teams this season. If he keeps going the way he is, then he will likely score more goals than most of the teams in the bottom half.
It was actually quite frightening watching Haaland to be honest. His movement is so good that he can go from walking and not really looking interested to suddenly being free and running into a dangerous area.
A lot was being made of Son not scoring so far this season and he was dropped to the bench for tonight’s game against Leicester. But he came on after an hour and scored three in the last 15 minutes
What is remarkable about Haaland is how often he touches the ball, which isn’t often at all. He averages less than 25 touches per game and in some games has had less than 20. But of course a decent proportion of those touches has involved him putting the ball in the net
Collins was unlucky?
No he wasn't, it was as clear a red as you'll ever see.
Haaland has the lot, it's not until you see him up close you realise the lads a tank. He looks like someone from House of the Dragon.
While the first team were playing City, the U21s were getting a draw away at top of the table Arsenal. Very young and inexperienced team we put out, so a good result, with defender Oliver Tipton getting the Wolves goal with a penalty
Seems that the signing of Denayer is still a possible and with Collins out for the next three games, now would be a good time
Just seen the goals.
Ait-Nouri skinned??? not even a little bit.
And Collins, that is a red all day long and what a daft challenge.
A pretty damning hit of our transfer work Saturday wasn't it. Five subs allowed and a CB red card and Bruno doesn't go near our defenders on the bench.
I think Bruno erred on the side of precaution when Collins was sent off. They will get game time, but against City was not the best time to blood Mosquera and Toti is more of a left sided defender.
Personally, I'd have gone with a back 3 and left Neves in midfield.
Neves dropping back seems a horrible decision. Surely even if he doesn't trust Mosq or Toti he could have just put Jonny central and brought Semedo on??
Would think he would at least trust Toti enough to bring him on. Mosquera fair enough.
We are in a bit of a state with the balance of our team.
Unfortunately it’s a consequence of two years lack of action. Yes we bought this summer and well, but that meant we had no real balance with the new players and kids.
Our team is fine with the exception of not having goal scorers. We have an excellent defensive record and quality players in midfield. Only need to look at the goals for column to see where we fall short
Was at the game. Lack of subs seemed a bit strange at first, but Neves did well.
We probably played our best football after dropping down to 10 men.

As I said, the balance is not right.
I don't really think our team is fine. The stupidity of our transfer window has been shown up as soon as it closed by us having to bring in another striker and probably another defender now Collins is out for three games.
Once again we get two injuries and are down to the bare bones.

I actually think putting Neves there during the game was the right decision. It allowed us to keep all our attacking players on the pitch and still play out. Nunes looked better in a midfield two when he had space to operate and we actually looked better with 10 than we did with 11.
That is true, maybe Bruno will change his tactics and formation.
