Still appears to be the case that Lopetegui is the man in the frame and that the club hope to appoint this week.

I think it will be a real disappointment if that didn't happen. As I posted a couple of weeks ago the worst scenario would be if they sacked Bruno without having someone else lined up, and that we would certainly need someone in for the important Forest game.

If we still have temps in place at the weekend than I cannot see why they didn't keep Bruno until they knew what they were going to do next. We saw what happened when McCarthy was shown the door with no replacement plan in place. Three managers later we were in League One. Don't see that being repeated but we could certainly be consigned to a season of searching for survival at this level.

I have worry that Lopetegui isnt quite ready for the challenge right at this moment, seems that he is distracted with family issues. The fact that Shi has gone to Spain for talks rather than JL coming to us must indicate that we are keener to bring him in than he is join us.

I hope and would expect that he is mature enough to not take the job if he isnt ready ready to give it 100%.

Don’t think there’s anything sinister in Wolves deciding to meet Lopetegui in Spain rather than in uk. His 91 year old father is evidently in poor health and he requested to spend some time with him before travelling here

Don't care who Lopetegui is linked with, he is the best candidate regardless.

He's the man we wanted pre Nuno so I'm not sure this is a case of mendes only

I don't think anyone has suggested that there's anything sinister about it, especially as Loppy has got family problems.

Is he really the best option and a lot's happened to him since he first became a option a few seasons ago.

I think he is the best option. Experience, decent success and will command respect

IF we hire Lopetegui he would be the third goalkeeper we have employed as manager since Fosun.

Didn't he win the Europa
