Agree spurs are a dull side 👍 but more durable this season , early days yet
Modric's available at the end of the season
Getting fed up with Son. Would be on the bench for me when Kulusevci is back
Getting bored of moaners !
The performance was better yesterday but our forwards let us down.
We can be a hard watch and Conte is trying to cut out the defensive errors.
We need to be more patient as a fan base and hopefully we’ll get better as a team and better to watch
I thought last night was far more watchable than most games so far this season but once again this wonderful forward line we supposedly have misfired and if anything Frankfurt had the best couple of opportunities.
As the games now come thick and fast I'm hoping that injuries and suspensions force Conte kicking and screaming to give other players/formations a chance.
While Kulu and Royal are out my team would be
Hugo
Doherty Romero Dier Lenglet Sess
Bentancur PEH
Perisic Kane Richardlison
Play Perisic up top. Son can be super sub. Rico is better on the right than left.
Remember when became the first CL team to score 2 or more goals in every group game
Good times
No joy in watching us. What the heck happened.

Look at the managers you’ve had.
That Brighton game couldn't have come at a worse time. Away midweek in the CL followed by a real test against a side that like to control the ball. The fact that they can score 3 at Anfield probably puts them as slight favourites for this game. Shocking but probably true.
I've not read anywhere about Kulu being out for six weeks. I read he has a chance for Brighton.
Have relied on Kane and Son for years, still do ,need that extra man in midfield to create Bissouma or Maddison would have been good, but doubt Conte will admit he's wrong just blame the players for not being clinical enough

Scoring 3 against us at the moment isn't a huge badge of honour mate! Although tbf, they created a lot and were really slick in attack. Even at our defensive best we'd have had our hands full.
Conte has always been a defence first manager but I must admit after the free scoring end to last season and the new signings, I was perhaps expecting more of a balance.
How has Bissouma done? I wouldn't have been at all disappointed if we'd have signed him (after the police dismissed his case) but he seems to be a bit-part player. Has he not impressed?

Had one start and was not great. Had 5 minutes here and there but hard to judge.
Conte says he struggling to adapt to his system.
Probably getting him to pass backwards and stop going forward .
Bissouma hardly passed forward for Brighton.
Agree with the OP we are very boring to watch as we have been for the last 3/4 years excluding the tail end of last season which was actually quite good again. We just don't want the ball any more all boring facking counter attack nonsense yawn!
All the top teams are proactive not this reactive rubbish. Jose Mk2 I'm afraid.
I agree I have been struggling with the football but yesterday was fine, massively let down by the front 3. Final balls etc just so wasteful, 1st half of arsenal was similar, making the right and accurate final ball for conte and being clinical is pretty important for his football.

Lol yh
But when your attacks are based on set patterns to get out after just holding off the opposition for large parts of the game, whilst not being entertaining, you are more so
Lucky for Spurs they’ve been clinical for years.

And that, in a nutshell, is the problem with Conte. He's so focused on defensive frailties he often fails to see what a player can offer going the other way. I said on another thread that I honestly think if he had Trent, he wouldn't get in a Conte side, which frankly I find astonishing and depressing in equal measure. That's exactly why, despite picking up wins and sitting third in the league, we'll never challenge the elite because you can't win anything these days without playing with attacking intent and ball domination. In a long, hard season it's far more energy sapping to be chasing the ball than carrying it. That's the flaw in the counter-attacking style. It's worked only twice in recent history - Atletico and Leicester. Every other ounce of success has been driven by progressive managers who play on the front foot.
And anyway. It's not all about success. It's also about entertainment and I've genuinely not seen any for 3 years at Spurs.
He's doing okay but I feel like we're climbing to the top of a ladder I'm not all that keen on climbing. Then you glance across at City, Liverpool, Chelsea, United and Arsenal (every other club in the traditional top six) and they're all building progressive projects. It's just all very meh from where I'm sitting.
But why would you use Bissouma as a choice in midfield to create?

Nail on the head there mate.
Its an approach based on organisation and solidity, that looks to exploit spaces left by teams rather than dominating possession and probing for 65%. In turn, where we do score the opposition open up even more as they chase a goal, making our game/threat even more potent.
