The guy is overrated. Thankfully others are starting to realise it now as per that Liverpool fan’s article.
His all round game leaves a lot to be desired to me. Yeah he’s a top poacher but not much else.
I think bundesliga answers the question. He was 2nd fiddle to lewandowski but it'd probably have been the other way round if he was the one playing for Bayern
Of course they would be different, he wouldn’t have de Bruyne, foden or Bernardo feeding him every five minutes
I think he'd be a 30+ player at any of the top 6... At City though (and maybe Liverpool), he could be a 50+ player.
Haaland would score goals anywhere for any team. And he scores against big teams and small ones. He’s the best striker of his generation and injury permitting will go down imo as one of the best 9’s of all time

Give it a rest culer, hate to say it but haaland real is quality. Bobby is correct however, he’s got an impressive supply line.

How do you explain the 9 goals for Norway?
Was saying other night when Nunez missed 4 chances that Haaland would have scored 3 of them minimum. He is a goal scoring machine from Austia, Germany, Norway to all the way to the PL.
Its difficult to see him have too many blanks this season
---
You say that but I win money for every goal he scores this weekend, thus guaranteeing a blank
He would have transformed United.
Probably wouldn't have scored quite as many but still would have been piling on the goals, I'm sure.
The question should be that if he was in the Real or Barca teams of the Ronaldo/Messi era would he score as many. I think so

So are you saying City don’t create more chances than most other PL teams?
A few outlets today saying he's earning 850k a week including bonuses.
Not even including the ridiculous payment his father received too.
Of course he would. Hes scored goals everywhere hes been.
He"ll get more chances at city than he would at most other clubs though which only helps his statistics
City + haaland really is the perfect storm

I might write an article on why this guy is overrated. Very tempted. People are blinded by a great goalscorer, rather than a great footballer. His all-round game leaves a lot to be desired if you watch him.

But but but Liverpool wage bill is higher than Cities
Even KDB bonuses are insane.

More financial doping I see.
City have been clever this time as bonuses aren’t guaranteed. It’s how I always screw my staff out of them!

This is just what we know about too. It's probably much much higher.
Mancini allegedly was paid his £8m salary years ago into a UAE bank account according to footy leaks. This club can't be trusted one bit. Same goes for PSG with their over inflated sponsorship nonsense.
Stain on football.
Annoyingly he’s so likeable. I shouldn’t be happy City ever score a goal but I weirdly enjoy seeing him score lots of goals.
We would score lots of goals for any team - he is just that good. But City are the best around at the moment in the PL and possibly Europe. So he is always going to score more for them. I think that he could play for any manager in any system, as he is pretty much the complete striker. He is good at everything.

One outlet the daily mail article. With no quotes or source. He is even back tracking on twitter when asked how he knows. Saying its from rumours around inner circles. Hmm.
I dunno if it was some fake Twitter thing but I saw there was an online petition to ban Haaland as he was a robot and it had over 400k signatures 😂
People are blinded by a great goalscorer
...
Because thats what he is and what he was bought for
People didnt judge schmicheal or buffon on their passing ability or how good they are at penalty taking because they were good at their primary job
Whether you think hes good at tracking back or pressing or working the channels or holding up play is completely irrelevant. hes a goalscorer signed to score goals and hes scoring goals
not sure what else you want from him

Would Haaland's numbers be different?
