Surely this all points to Lopetegui though. Fingers crossed.
Down side to all this of course is the bunch of tawts that will mention Nuno 50,000 times over the next month as if speaking for the entire fanbase.

Interesting feom @POF_POD naming 2 PL clubs open to sale offers 'one chinese owned and one other Asian owned'. Obvs #wwfc is one. May be part of reluctance for head coaches to join. Chinese ownershio doesnt look particularly secure atm.
Oh feck, just realised Southgate could be a genuine possibility.
I would be delighted to see Fosun sell up and move on. When they first bought the club they were keen, ambitious and had some good people in place to make things happen. Since Jeff Shi has become virtually a one man band things have gone steadily downhill. We need new owners to breath new life into the club and maybe then we can progress instead of stagnating.

7 Games between now and 2023:
Leicester Home
Brentford Away
Brighton Home
Leeds Home (cup)
Arsenal Home
Everton Away
Man U Home
Gallardo said he wouldn't move til the new year either.
We can only hope
Shi said in the statement that there were no outstanding candidates.
Well that removes all those names now then
I'm surprised Shi didn't appoint himself to be honest.

He's certainly arrogant enough
With Fosun selling, it's completely dependant on who would buy us. It could easily be a disaster.
What a season this has turned into. I feared it had possibilities of turning into this kind of mess with Bruno on thin ice but fack me, what a mess now.
Have believed all along relegation wasn't a real possibility but when you look at it now it is hard to make that argument anymore. Injuries piling up, zero self belief, zero direction, players surely bemused by the whole situation.
Wouldn't surprise me if some of our top players were considering submitting a transfer request in January.
Yeah, I wonder first about Diego Costa, he could go either way and show his displeasure or he could be a big voice trying to galvanise a side in crisis. Hopefully the latter.
I think Costa is supposed to be an excellent team player isn't he? His reputation of what he is like on the pitch is nothing like what he is like as a person.
You even see it when he plays for us to be honest. Spends 60 minutes engaging in shthousery and trying to wind someone up; then shakes their hands and is best mates with them when he goes off.
Yeah, it looks like he is a big character and liked by all.
Loved his stealing Neves hairband
Fabio has scored a pen and had a goal disallowed so far tonight
Looks very liekly Gerrard is going to be sacked.
No doubt it is gonna kick off next week when they get a big name manager in, possibly Pochettino and imagine if it were Gallardo.
Yeah, they'll have no problem getting anyone in and make us look like idiots.
Saw the Davis story on WhatsApp am assumed it was a photo shop wind up. What surreal day, a 45 day prime minister resigns, wolves replace their manager with a member of the coaching staff, I spend the evening with the ex, feels like it's 2012 except I'm not 10 years younger.
Lose to Leicester and there will be chants of sack the the board on Sunday for sure. Kind of happy to be heading off to Crete for the week and missing that one.
Gerrard sacked. Odds on Lopetegui to Villa?

If that happens there would be a riot and rightly so. For what it is worth I think Lopetegui is/was genuine with his reasons for knocking us back right now.
I suspect they will give Pochettino a good shot and wouldn't be surprised if they tried Gallardo. I also think whoever it is they are going for is already lined up and they will have one by next week.
