seen jesus miss some right sitters this season i guess hes a donkey?

missed one today vs leeds in the few mins i saw from like 5 yards out put it over couldnt even hit the target.

He will be starting alot more now as it seem Jota has another injury

Needs to start every game. He will get a lot of chances but needs to do more with it.

If Nunez gets 15 goals and 5 assists all comps this season (and he will) I'll be happy enough at this stage.

He has ridiculously good movement.

He also seems to be judged really harshly by many.

Take £50m man Richarlison with no Prem goals for example. I'm not trying to strawman it really but Nunez's numbers are actually very good.

But Nunez has been a poor signing so far I'd say. Not sure where this 'raw' thing comes from - he's played 150 competitve games and is 4 years older than Harvey Elliot.
He might come good but looks a long, long way from replacing Firmino, let alone Mane or Salah

Came on for last 20 minutes and was immediately involved in 3-4 sequences where we should have scored.

His end product 90% of the time is league one standard. He's also one of the least intelligent footballers I've seen for a while.

I do have faith that he may come good but can't see him every being an £80m striker.

If you read my initial comment, I didn't say anything about missing sitters. Nunez plays like yaya sanogo. The jesus comparison is rather desperate.

This thread really confuses the hell out of me. Nunez may come good, he may even one day be worth his price tag, but I don’t know how anyone can call him great on the back of possibly the worst CF cameo ever seen in the PL. He got everything wrong he possibly could. Wasted 3 golden chances to kill the game. You mean the 20 minutes he came on and we tore City apart multiple times and should have scored more goals? He didn't score this time but he had similar impact in the Community Shield game and also managed to score on that occasion. This time he should have had 2 assists and a goal. He's much younger than the likes of Salah and Mane when we got them. He will be here a long time and has time to polish his game further.

I mean you tore City apart because they lost all composure and put everyone inside your half desperately looking for a goal. It was just one long ball and Liverpool were in every time. Nothing wrong with that but don’t attribute it to Darwin Nunez coming on, as I said earlier Sanogo would have had a similar if not bigger impact on the game.

And yea he will be at Liverpool a long time and has time to improve.
