Rude Celebs

(Excuse my lack of spacing in the OP, the spam filter was unforgiving)

Haven't actually spoken to many celebs but met Roy Keane at an airport when he was Sunderland manager and got a photo. He wasn't overly rude by any means but you could tell he was getting sick of the fanfare which is fair enough.

The only semi-celeb I've really had a chat with is Adrian Lewis. He often comes across as a bit of a d*ck on the oche but a seems a nice guy in real life.

Iv read that exact same story about Ian Watkins before .................. like the EXACT story , pretty much worded the same way you have here.

Im sure it was on youtube?

Jack Wilshere once cut me up before some traffic lights and I started raging - fair play to him, he wound his window down and apologised. For some reason all I could ask back was “do you live round here” and when he said yes I asked where, at which point he just rolled his window back up - which is fair enough as I came across as a bit mental.

Doesn’t quite fit OP, but there are some elements there

Met Sugar Ray Leonard a couple of months ago and he was one of the nicest men I’ve ever had the pleasure of coming across.

Totally besides the point of your article, sorry.

In other news, I hear Gary Linekar is a complete cork

Mike Hooper was a bit of d!ck when I asked for his autograph as a kid but other than that they have all been sound (not that I have met that many).

Gotta say Shane Warne was the best Robb.

At Kent vs Australia in a pre-ashes game they let the kids go on the grass during lunch. I had broken my arm and all the Aussies (who were fielding) were rude as fvck but it was a great side so I wanted the autographs.

Warne saw this, came over, signed my pot and scorecard and posed for a photo. I still have that bit of plaster and scorecard.

Top bloke.

Ronald De Boer.

He hadnt long signed for Rangers. I was obv a massive fan.

Anyway on a night out in Trash in Glasgow on a Tuesday night. He came in with Arthur Numan and a couple other football players.

I was already pretty drunk and when he was at the bar I went up to buy some more drinks and was next to him (and about 8 chicks!) Anyway he bought his drinks and for some banter I said hope their is not alcohol in they drinks or Il tell the gaffer (cringe I know).

He then looks me up and down before "pfffting" and barging past me.

I was raging ... a season ticket holder since I was 14, went to every away game also. I was also steaming, so after a quick discussion describing the situation to my mates I was fizzing and wouldnt let it go So I walked up to him again and said in his ear "you live in the shadow of your brother" to which he launched me with a proper solid two handed shove and before anything else could happen I had two bouncers on me kicking me out !!

I don't think I'd ever really bother a celeb in public when they are just going abut their day.

I saw Liam Cunningham (Davos in GOT) in a pub a few weeks back I wouldn't dare bother him, he was with what was presumably his family and tbf it didn't look like many were bothering him.

Yeah, he was very popular with most who met him as he was very chilled and personable. Such a shame he died way too soon. 🕊️

Are you sure you don't just evoke this response in people Robb? Think I'd tell you to fack off too if I ever met you 🙃

My missus used to watch Ackley Bridge, and used to comment on how terrible the Asian dinner ladies accent was.

I later bumped into the actress who played ued her in a casino in Bristol, and asked for a selfie to wind my missus up.

She was hammered and I think, with a fella she shouldn't have been, so she politely declined, before falling over.

What Robb left out of that story is that when Hayden was walking past and he said hi, his trousers were around his ankles

Met some members of the Welsh rugby team, the Argentinian rugby team, and the Stoke football team all in the same day at a hotel in the Vale of Glamorgan. The guys I spoke to were all pretty nice tbh.

That's what i was thinking... Some aussie nerd with comic-con tshirt and a blow up doll under his arm is probably gonna get that response from most women!

Paolo Di Canio

We went on a school trip in primary school to West Ham’s training ground, watched them train then after, every single player came out to sign stuff or say hello, except Di Canio just drove straight past everyone in his Porsche or Aston Martin other than once to beep for one of the players to get out his way

Van Morrison bustled past everyone in the airport queue right to the front and didn't apologise.

Fair play, I love Astral Weeks so all is forgiven.

I bumped into Lingard many years ago when he was on loan at Birmingham. Surrounded himself with an entourage like some rapper. Bit of a div.
