Aww what a wee shame having such horrible seasons where you only finished third
It must be awful ONLY winning one cup in a season too
Oh, we only won most of our games but I wasn't ENTERTAINED enough
Oh dear, me, I'm ever so ENTITLED
Best - Wim
Worst - oooh so much choice!
Not Lennon because that was so predictable and many on here did so right from the start. Barnes was tough but it was banter years for us so not entirely his fault. Still grimace a bit watching Donnelly taking the green pound when his enthusiasm in that era was, shall we say lacking a bit?
I’ll need to think about it.
Dundee
Favourite was also 2000/2001 season when we signed all the crazy foreigners and played some of the best football ever seen in Scotland. I remember going to all of the home and away games and the opposition fans marvelling at our silky football, before celebrating their winner as we were mostly about style over substance.
2010/2011 admin season also one of the best when we could only sign players for 3 matches then they had to move on. Played a fan, a 49 year old, stuck a steak in our striker's boot because he was injured and we didn't have any players. Then he scored with the steak in his boot. Signed an ancient Neil McCann for about 10 minutes and he came on and scored the winner against Raith in the dying seconds.
Also went to the majority of home and away games that season, sticking £20 in a bucket each time to help save the club. After the 25 point deduction we went on a 23 game unbeaten run and stayed up. Glorious times. Well in relative terms as I have never experienced glory.
2012-2013 was pretty shiiite as we were only promoted due to Rangers dying and we were not a Premiership team in reality so it was kind of shiiite. But I can only thank Rangers, because if it wasn't for them dying, then we wouldn't be where we are today, pretty much exactly where we have been on average for the past 30 years.
2004/2005 climbing the hill behind the goal at Livingston then hundreds of others coming and joining as the ground was sold out, to watch us get relegated and them stay up on the final day.
Centenary season in 88 was up there - not expected to do much and a few uninspiring signings like Chris Morris, Andy walker and billy stark as well as losing mcclair mo Johnstone Danny mcgrain and Murdo McLeod. From the start of the season though we were on a mission and were unstoppable.
Worst - hampden season - didn’t realise at the time what was to come but we were bad and the atmosphere sheight at our ‘home’ games.

Barry
Obviously any season you win a trophy is the highlight and thankfully I've seen my team win trophies unlike others. For me 2010 was the pinnacle as a match going supporter for me.
There was some great football played under Jackie but sadly his tactically ineptitude stopped a talented group of players getting the trophy they deserved.
As for worst, any time you see your team getting relegated stands out and obviously losing at Dens to confirm it makes it exceptionally worse.
However, some of the years in the Championship were just horrible - getting beat from Dumbarton etc. It wasn't just that we were losing to these teams, but that we deserved to lose. The football over the last few years has just been awful to watch more often than not, even once we got back up. The Mellon season was eye-bleeding.

dundee were quality that year, a few names i remember
Juan Sara
Caballero
Nemsadze
Khizanishvili
Cannigia
signing ravanelli for about a fortnight
The standout season for me has yo be 1966/67. Celtic entered 5 competitions that year and won them all - the only European club to achieve the Quintuple
The worst for me was Ronnie Delia's last season, dreadful football in a half empty stadium.
34 seconds into this video. One of the worst challenges I have ever seen. Was behind it and could hear a snap. I don't even know which United player committed the worse foul. Anyway, what could have been that season or for Caballero in his career. Ended via jealousy, spurred on by Ivan from the stands. Disgusting.

Brilliant football
Horrible challenge right enough
And that intro music
Two stick out for me.
The 10 men won the league and the Wim “stop the 10”.
Was one of the few who never got the hatred for McCann. Thought he was treated appallingly by our support who couldn’t understand simple maths and someone who made promises he kept. Bizarre. He completely changed and revolutionised our club for the better.

Ivan is normally spurring on admin1 whilst bareback riding.
We could have done the same to any of their more talented players over the years. Andy Robertson, could have just snapped him, then there would be no Liverpool PL and CL glory for him or possibly the club. Armstrong, used to terrorise us. Could have just snapped him. Then there would be no memorable 2-2 draw with England....Ah balls.
But we are too classy.
Can you please clarify how long back bears are allowed to go?

i see you have accepted that you get two goes at it, but if you accept that then it would be 1/9iar.
Worst: Most of the 1990s
Best: 97/98 Double under Wim Jansen (Nothing will ever beat it)
i don't recall 97/98 being that great tbh.
it was good one we won it, but wasn't an overly enjoyable season, too stressy.
