Sub par performance from us, but a huge and deserved win in the circumstances. Left side of our starting defence was honking, Berni especially. Gave the ball away in dangerous areas all game until he was hooked … for the match winner. Shout out to Taylor BTW.
Ref beyond poor … VAR ref not much better. Scottish football in a nutshell. It’s not VAR’s fault though, just the numpties officiating.

Totally agree
Said it before regarding Bernabei , definitely has attributes but he is nowhere near as polished as Taylor - although think he will be a better player in time
Taylor - yes big shout out . Tidy , industrious and is actually a good player using Anges system where he doesn't have to take on a man to cross . Weirdly inverted fullback Totally suits him
Aaron Mooy though
I feel he's ruining the style and identity a bit , why does Ange pkay him ? He's really not an ange style player
Btw Hatate again , involved in everything we do well
Criticism of the var is harsh imho. First week ffs! Yes the hand ball balance of public opinion is pen but there are always going to be these marginal interpretations. Listened to the bears game on Clyde and to a man said the yellow was never a red and all changed their mind on review. That is a success. All the other decisions a success. More correct decisions a success. We should celebrate that!
And >700 comments!
I didn’t realise you’d missed my live threads so much?
For me that tackle is never a red on multiple showings , like never a red
He lifts his foot up to pull it out the tackle and they kept showing that bit on repeat without the context
He didn't go in with his foot up , did they say on Clyde its a red ?
Agree with what you say Silver it doesn't totally take away interpretation and maybe that's a good thing
It will definitely showcase who understands the game
Stewart saying the handball wasn't a pen 🤣
Michael Stewart is a fcking Muppet, "never a pen" for the hand ball, shut up ya rocket
Shelly Kerr telling him he is full of shìťe
And on the pen retake, "half his body was still outside"?

Seems like it, I'm in my local and it's full of Jambos and all of them to a man a) felt the handball was a pen and b) he was in early, along with the Celtic players
They are however FULL of bitterness and it's superb

This is one of the things that gets to me-VAR isn’t some automated, non-organic entity. It’s another human making the decisions. That’s what cracks me up-how can a human, and in our case a current referee-look at that handball incident and not give it as a penalty. 2 referees have looked at that, and decided against giving it. That’s incredulous.

Stunning, it was about as clear a pen as I have seen for handball, that said I also think both our pens were nailed on

The Hearts incidents were both penalties. The moaning about how Walsh didn’t give the first one instantly is laughable.

Yip both pens
Walsh maybe thought it was a coming together so VArR helped
No idea why Neilson has any issues with that
Would like to see how he would have coped with no handball for our pen

Absolutely, would have liked the interviewer to have asked his opinion on the handball? Robbie is a whinging pwick at best anyway
