What a fall from grace. I do not see them as one of Europe's true elite clubs anymore. They will be in the Europa League and sitting outside the top 4 in their league. Can you imagine Real or Bayern in that position? That true elite clubs:

They went all out for Bremer and Pogba in the summer and Vlahovic the Xmas before that despite not owning a pot to pizz in. Sold us Kulu and Bentancur well below market rate as well.

Basically an Italian Everton the last few years - pizzing money up the wall on shiete.

Hope they win they knock all the English sides out of the Europa though before losing to Bodo Glimt 6-0 in the final

A lot of their financial issues were caused by Ronaldo. The signing contributed to their steady decline in more ways than one.

True. He scored plenty for them but never made them better. Overall it was a huge waste of money.
