Why would they go and enter a racist country with a racist government when they could stay in an EU country that will not only look after them but also welcome them with open arms.

There are other reasons related to qualifications and employment opportunities; but again, if you’d performed a quick Google search followed by three minutes of reading, or if you picked up any given broadsheet every now and then, you’d know all of this already. It isn’t some keenly-guarded secret.

No. They're fleeing persecution and prefer to enter the UK over other countries due to economic reasons.
There are many reasons international law allows asylum seekers to chose the country in which to seek asylum. Asylum seekers should chose the country that gives them the best chance of a good life, depending on their language, family, friends or even just their own desire, not just any country.

No. They're fleeing persecution and prefer to enter the UK over other countries due to economic reasons.
There are many reasons international law allows asylum seekers to chose the country in which to seek asylum. Asylum seekers should chose the country that gives them the best chance of a good life, depending on their language, family, friends or even just their own desire, not just any country.

I dont think people just get to decide. People with convictions cant even visit the US for example.
One important factor is probably language, with English being spoken either as a first but more likely a second language for a lot of people.
If you're fleeing war, poverty etc you'd first get out to safety then look for a place to settle long term. Being able to speak the language somewhere would be a factor.

No the bad guys are the guys who bomb the fack out of my country, killing hundreds of thousands and displacing millions more. We produce billions in oil every year, but all we see for decades is poverty, more foreign soldiers and bombs. They bomb the whole region too, and now they cleverly take control of the oil, gas and natural resources. Apparently because there's some bad men hiding in some mountains I've never even seen. I heard the leader of these bad men is or was friends with their president and sheet. They must have fallen out real baaaad.
One of my neighbours still has a barely functioning TV. Yesterday I was watching and in those countries that bomb us I saw them drinking tea, throwing away tons and tons of perfectly good food everyday and playing in water. We hardly have water or medicine here and I'm tired of eating the UN scones they give us every single meal. Fack this. I'm not taking this sheet. Tell them I'm coming. They can throw me in jail if they want.
Maybe don't bomb my country again in future and I might consider not bringing my entire extended family as well after I settle in. But I'm not making any promises.

No the bad guys are the guys who bomb the fack out of my country, killing hundreds of thousands and displacing millions more. We produce billions in oil every year, but all we see for decades is poverty, more foreign soldiers and bombs. They bomb the whole region too, and now they cleverly take control of the oil, gas and natural resources. Apparently because there's some bad men hiding in some mountains I've never even seen. I heard the leader of these bad men is or was friends with their president and sheet. They must have fallen out real baaaad.
One of my neighbours still has a barely functioning TV. Yesterday I was watching and in those countries that bomb us I saw them drinking tea, throwing away tons and tons of perfectly good food everyday and playing in water. We hardly have water or medicine here and I'm tired of eating the UN scones they give us every single meal. Fack this. I'm not taking this sheet. Tell them I'm coming. They can throw me in jail if they want.
Maybe don't bomb my country again in future and I might consider not bringing my entire extended family as well after I settle in. But I'm not making any promises.

As for asylum seekers whose applications are granted, it’s COMPLETELY FACKING IRRELEVANT how much tax they end up paying or how much the state spends to support them because they’ve BEEN GRANTED HUMANITARIAN ASYLUM ffs.
Anyone complaining about the cost of legitimate asylum seekers to the public purse - across recent history most of whom have arrived from countries the UK or UK manufactured and sold weapons of war have bombed the shiiiiit out of let’s not forget - should immediately put their head in a facking woodchipper.

Why would they go and enter a racist country with a racist government when they could stay in an EU country that will not only look after them but also welcome them with open arms.

Nobody has still come up with ant sort of explanantion as to why anyone would risk their lives to cross 23 miles of some of the most dangerous waterways on the planet to leave the nirvana that is an EU country to gain access to the shiiithole that is the UK.

3)Known opportunities for employment

Why would they go and enter a racist country with a racist government when they could stay in an EU country that will not only look after them but also welcome them with open arms.

To boost the numbers in the fight against racism. Racism must be fought anywhere and everywhere. Leaving racists alone is counterproductive.

No. They're fleeing persecution and prefer to enter the UK over other countries due to economic reasons.
There are many reasons international law allows asylum seekers to chose the country in which to seek asylum. Asylum seekers should chose the country that gives them the best chance of a good life, depending on their language, family, friends or even just their own desire, not just any country.

No. They're fleeing persecution and prefer to enter the UK over other countries due to economic reasons.

I dont think people just get to decide. People with convictions cant even visit the US for example.

One important factor is probably language, with English being spoken either as a first but more likely a second language for a lot of people.
If you're fleeing war, poverty etc you'd first get out to safety then look for a place to settle long term. Being able to speak the language somewhere would be a factor.

No the bad guys are the guys who bomb the fack out of my country, killing hundreds of thousands and displacing millions more. We produce billions in oil every year, but all we see for decades is poverty, more foreign soldiers and bombs. They bomb the whole region too, and now they cleverly take control of the oil, gas and natural resources. Apparently because there's some bad men hiding in some mountains I've never even seen. I heard the leader of these bad men is or was friends with their president and sheet. They must have fallen out real baaaad.
One of my neighbours still has a barely functioning TV. Yesterday I was watching and in those countries that bomb us I saw them drinking tea, throwing away tons and tons of perfectly good food everyday and playing in water. We hardly have water or medicine here and I'm tired of eating the UN scones they give us every single meal. Fack this. I'm not taking this sheet. Tell them I'm coming. They can throw me in jail if they want.
Maybe don't bomb my country again in future and I might consider not bringing my entire extended family as well after I settle in. But I'm not making any promises.
