Former Celtic player on the scoresheet
Surprised to see Beale as favourite - he only recently turned down a job in the English prem so doubt he'd be any more interested in a return to Scotland.
Whoever it is, they better bloody be good.
Apparently it is Beale, he's free to go.
Tactically he has the credentials, whether he is a big enough name to attract players to Ibrox remains to be seen, that was in part the Gerrard role.
Bookie’s favourite is just the individual most money is bet on
see if beale was the brains behind gerrards "success" is he responsible for his failure as well?

Beale started the pandemic
Pass it on
First Kenny Miller and co piled on the pressure to sack him now the Scottish mafia are piling on the pressure on who it should be to increase their chances of getting red hot rumours if not a job.
Rangers need to choose someone with "vast experience of the Scottish game," says former Ibrox striker Kris Boyd. (Scottish Sun)
FWIW waistline aside, not sure what his definition of vast is but it probably rules almost everyone that Rangers would consider out? Out of the odds list that Izzy posted above I'd say that leaves just Robby Nielson?

Agreed, Ange seems to have done ok without vast experience of Scottish game. Get a good manager, back them and then you give yourself as good a chance as you're going to have. Scottish experience would be desireable I suppose but a candidate with extensive experience of Scottish football doesn't really exist right now as a realistic candidate for the job.

scottish experience is completely irrelevant IMO.
the last two rangers managers with "experience" of the scottish leagues was Mccoist and Mcall.
Celtics was Lennon and Mowbray.
culture of a leagues style or their teams becomes less of an issue every year.
being good at your job is the no1 priority, whether they have managed in scotland before isnt a factor to me.
