Bringing Henderson on was worse

Not sure how Mount gets in that team.

Mount has been the worst player in both games but still gets 90 mins in both and will be starting the next game too.

dno what u watched, he improved us. Not that it was hard. Did more than Bellingham managed. Main issue i had with the subs was the timing, way too late, and some players staying on far too long despite having shockers.

We were totally dominated most that game until the subs came on and i guess USA tired.

Can't say im surprised, Southgates a clown so i expect him not to see it or care, he prob sees that point as a great result.

Such an unnecessarily dull England side. Sterling is past his best, Mount is uninspiring and bringing on Henderson was a strange move.

Another poor showing, asking why do waste my time watching,, like Utd at there worst, no energy, no ideas

I don’t see the hype around Bellingham whenever I watch him.

Safegate is a diabolical manager. Cannot wait until the day he’s sacked.

How Mount gets a game in front of Foden is a mystery. You can almost guarantee he will go with the same time again. Never really liked Southgate but someone at the FA needs to put their hand on his shoulder after this tournament and say that's enough, but they won't.

tbf to rice he was clearly voicing/showing how unhappy he was with the lack of options he had when on the ball... And you could see why USA formation/organsation and our lack of showing for the ball etc made it seemed like we had less players on the pitch for most of it.

Subs helped that, Hendo especially. He was showing for it all over that midfield left right and centre and urging calm to keep the ball even if it meant recycling back and sideways. And it was needed because up until thos (too late) subs came England were under the cosh for most that 2nd half.

Really disappointing, after the Iran game i thought ok theres a feel good factor they look together and up for it. Tonight totally opposite. Idk wtf Southgates been doing with them.

Saka was easily better than Mount

The best play of the game for Eng was Saka’s delightful cut back for Kane.

I know Mount isn’t a bad footballer, and I don’t watch Chelsea every week, but I literally cannot remember anything he has ever done in a game where I have watched him.

Mount was absolute fecking shiite

Surprised Foden didn't come on, but he doesn't really do anything for England when he plays. Has to play though when Mount (already in poor form at club level) is having a stinker.
