I do get what Winston is saying, more often than not when the ref is called to the screen they go with what the VAR official says, in this case they were right imo BUT as I don't like VAR at all and think that games should flow naturally without the stopping amd starting it's makes then I just get frustrated, I agree that's only my opinion and also agree that It is what it is and won't change but I grew up watching football without it and have been saddened with it's impact on matches?

Not seen tonight's decision but the whole thing is ridiculous.

Another 'clear and obvious' error for people to argue about.

What is Winstons view on this? I will just take the opposite stance.

In my opinion the bigger issue has been VAR not sending refs to look at the monitor for clear and obvious ones, as opposed to refs agreeing with the VAR when they advise them to take a second look.

I'd probably prefer to go without it and just have a somewhat automated offside rule and goal technology. We'll still be chatting about rubbish refs but without huge stoppages.

I just don't really get Winston's point here

Fair point T auto offsides are ok it's the calls that have some ambiguity about them that pash me off? With VAR there's really no right or wrong other than an individuals opinion
