I think he's done a great job and a big part of that is appreciating the quality position Klopp left you in and not trying to reinvent the wheel.

I think it shows the quality of a great dressing room mentality, Pool have players who can self manage on the pitch like we have had in the past but sadly miss having a single one now.

He prevented a goal scoring opportunity with a foul but we don't want to go down the route of punishing those things

Yeah absolutely and I think that's a lot because of the environment Klopp built over the years. That doesn't detract from Slot, he's been lucky to come into a favorable role but he's still had challenges and found solutions for each one.
