On what basis do you only see an Arsenal win, when they usually lose at WHL?
We’ll have to play well to get something.
We were poor vs Newcastle and look tired tbh.
With Romero & Lloris, you’ve got 2 bonafide World Champions in your back 5 and we don’t have that type of experience in big game situations.

I imagine it's something to do with Arsenal being top of the form table and Spurs having two wins in six league games.
Always a good game though, anything can happen.
I hate to be negative because I'm really not a negative person however, I think for the first time in a while the away team wins a NLD
I hope he plays Sarr...and where the fack is Bentancur!??

I was really hoping Bentancur would be ready for this game, but I've not heard anything about him resuming training.
Let's hope he is a surprise inclusion, because he's the nearest to a creative midfielder that we've got at the moment.
Hugo
Romero Dier Davies
Doherty Bissouma PEH Sarr Perisic
Kane Kulu
Then bring Son on for Kulu in the 2nd half.
Try to get to HT at nil nil then smash and grab in the 2nd.
They will press and dominate us in the first half.

I fanct Spurs to win against Arseal.
They have swagger at the moment and I think they will come to your place thinking if they play their high press game they will be to much for you.
This is the sorta game I can see Conte's style to come good. Counter attack them and soak it up.
Spurs 2-0 win.
If we sit back and let them press and dominate us from the kickoff. I fear the game will be over by half-time. They have a young enthusiastic team who will run and run and work hard for each other. Truth be told we are the eact opposite currently.
Really worried and concerned about this game as it does stand normally as real marker as to where we are and how we are progessing.

Our defense couldn't soak up a bath.
Looking at the May 2022 starting line up, on paper our defence was weaker, but the midfield and attack stronger (than the likely line up on Sunday):
May 2022
Lloris
Sanchez
Dier
Davies
Royal
Hojbjerg
Sessegnon
Bentacur
Kane
Son
Kulu
Arsenal's defence on paper was weaker also (hence our victory) and they didn't have Partey. Other than the inclusion of Partey, their midfield and attack is likely to be unchanged from last May, but their defence is stronger.
I'm not sure I should have looked back in such detail, because it suggests Arsenal will have the edge.
But I'm still expecting a Spurs 2-1 victory!
Yeah Partey and Saliba have been huge for them.
The only tactic we can hope for is if they play a high line, which they will if they are pressing us and we hit a ball over the top. Maybe Son should start?

I love the way our fans have hoisted the white flag before a ball has been kicked. Arsenal are not prime Barca, they are an OK team that hit a bit of form. Bit like Newcastle.
Spurs at WHL should be beating them.

yes im sure if Spurs were sitting top of the table 5 points clear, then Sandy would be saying that they have just hit a bit of form.

Yeah its pathetic.
No one expects it to be anything other than difficult to beat them. We will have to play very well. We are a bit under par in terms of injuries in a couple key positions but i think we would have taken a lot of confidence from thrashing Palace away.
The home support can make a massive difference, lets hope they have a winning mindset and get right behind the team, unlike the old moaners on here.
Im looking forward to it. A clash of styles and I expect it to be tightly contested. Think a draw is likely
Arsenal are an average side in corm. Spurs are good enough to beat anyone at home so there are no excuses for Spurs to get anything other a win this weekend.
Problem is that the rest of the Spurs fans listen to the biased media which thinks that Arsenal are prime Barca and Spurs are rubbish.
We are often that little bit better when we have had a week to prepare for a game. This is the first time we have had this luxury of a whole week to prepare since August.
