I've noticed this season that whenever there are a lot of posters on here very unhappy about JM and wanting him sacked and just when it seems he is on the ropes, JM manages to get a decent result in his next game.

It had a charm when he first signed, I liked listening to him, but now I just see straight talking Marco Silva's Fulham 14 points ahead of us and battling for conference league football 😮‍💨

The Villa games are always fun. If someone said 3-2, I wouldn't argue.

I find he just doesn't say anything of value in these press conference.

Jimmy is a big loss for us, especially as he had just come back after injury. Even though Wober will I.prove us at the back, I think we will concede. However, can we score more than them? Yes. Rod and Gnonto to bring home the points. 2-1 Leeds.

I hope JM has seven enough in Cody to give him a start, as he did well last week. Not sure about where Wober fits in, possibly at left back, but also good in front of Pascal? Summerville a big loss, though, as him and Ngonto look great together.
Villa are like us, they have some good players, but the shape of the team is not right. However, their new manager is getting more goals out of them. It will be very close.
The team I would like to see is:
Mes
Cody Coops. Koch. Struijk.
Roca Adams. Wober.
Harrison. Rod. Willy
I think this will challenge their strength in midfield, where Luis and Buendia have been doing well together, and limiting the supply to Ings and Watkins. Villa’s defence is weak and I am looking forward to seeing Willy give them a headache. Olsen is not a great keeper either and I am confident that we can get a 2-1 win out of this. What team would you send out today?

Will be interesting to see what back starts and where Wober fits in.

Summerville injury surely gives Aarsonson another chance to start, assuming Harrison comes back to start as well.

Please start with Rodrigo up top!

I think it is a question of who scores more as I cannot see us keeping a clean sheet. Their defence is also flimsy so it could be a goal fest.
Me saying this probably means a 0-0 is on the cards!

I expect Wober to be used as our first choice left back before long. If not tonight.

How good will he be? Hard to say. He looked good against Cardiff but they're awful. He looked good in the clips in Austria, but that level could be below Championship. Hopefully he can make the step up better than Kristensen.

I now don't mind the idea setting one side of the defence to be a left back/centre back though.

Think it's something a lot of sides will be doing before long because of the latest trend to go to a 3-2-2-3 build up shape. From what I've seen this opens up a lot more angles and makes it a lot more difficult for oppositions to create traps and press.

We will have Wober, Struijk Hjelde as our options for this. But will mean Firpo is redundant. Also puts Kristensen at the bottom of the pecking order for me. A lot more responsibility will be put on the right back to be creative and he looks about as comfortable going forward as Andy Hughes did bless him. Ayling and Drameh both much more comfortable on the ball.
