I'd be heavily surprised if either Hugo or Kane were dropped for you against City?

I'd be even more so if Conte changed his shape, system or approach, it could happen I suppose and I get that a fair few fans would like it to but he doesn't seem the kinda man who would do so?

Either way it will be interesting on Thursday to see the team, shape and approach from gthe players

I will be very disappointed if either starts. Lloris would be rewarding poor play, by saying however bad you are, you aint getting dropped. That would send out a really bad signal to the rest of the side, that they can play badly and never get dropped.

And Kane what would be the point of keep playing a player that will be gone in a few months. Makes absolutely no sense. I have no problem with him wanting out, but I don`t want him playing for my club, if that is the case.

Has he intimated that he does want to leave or is it just a general feeling amongst some fans? each to their own but for me if he is fit and hasn't said anything you have to play your best player in the big games?

As for Hugo I just think that Conte wont drop the captain and replace him with Forster, who btw I do like and enjoyed at Celtic for a while but I just cannot see him dropping him, the team list will let us know whats what at approx 7pm Thursday however

Apparently strong rumours coming out that he doesn`t want to renew his contract. As I said I have zero problem with that, his choice absolutely.

But I see no point in playing a player if he wants out. Spurs surely have to move forward to life beyond Kane. For to long this one player has been allowed to dominate the proceedings at WHL. That has to stop. No one player should be bigger than the club.

If Kane doesn't play between now and end of season then there's absolutely no chance Spurs make top 4. Probably not top 6 either. And without European football it won't be possible to find a replacement who's even half as good.

But it`s not just one rumour is it Smeg/ Practically the whole world is telling Kane to move on, and he has just one year left of his contract. He could sign a new contract today, but pretty obvious he won`t.

We all need to move on from the Kane saga. It was embarrassing the last time with the City interest.

No one player should be allowed to be bigger than the club.

I warned in the summer that Kane could possibly end up at United. Everyone said "no chance, it's a sideways step" but the trajectory of both clubs has played out exactly as I expected it to. We're on the way down, they're on the way up. That's what happens when you get a front foot progressive project coach over a win now, short term guy who plays abject football.

I'm furious that we've failed Harry. If he goes, it's our fault. The club has been so badly managed from top to bottom for the last three years, he's practically being held against his will as we speak.

To want to punish him by refusing to start him against City after all he's done for us is just staggering. Were it not for him, we'd have been flirting with the bottom half for the last few years. The idea of him not playing for us is just unthinkable. I don't think I can remember a player in my Spurs supporting life, who's departure will sting so much. On a personal level and a statistical one.

Either way, that guy deserves a 1000ft statue outside the ground, not dropping from the team.

You have the cheek to accuse me of not being a fan from time to time Sandy. How about you show some respect to our greatest ever striker? He deserves a good send off.

Pochettino also didn't get any proper time to actually use those two new players before he left. Lo Celso was injured pre-season if I recall correctly, then went on international duty, got injured again, and then Pochettino was sacked before he got fit again.

Ndombele played a few games but Pochettino was gone before the player integrated into the team/league - which no doubt contributed to how badly he ended up settling. Then again his struggles since suggest even Pochettino might have struggled to get a consistent tune out of him

Kane will leave 100% this summer, he will probably be Sir Jim Ratcliffe`s marquee statement signing, and good luck to him, he will not pick up medals playing under the misery of ENIC.

Kane is a generational talent, who has been failed by the clubs owners on an epic scale, he should have had a title winning team built around him, won multiple trophies and been a one club man. Unfortunately he has been forced to leave to realize his ambition, something which ENIC sadly lack.

Then why are we even commenting on his articles? If he's on a wind up, surely don't give him the satisfaction. I think it's somewhere in the middle. He does have these opinions, they're real, but he enjoys the rage in other posters at the same time.

I can't help but bite, which I'm sure he loves, but there's no doubt in my mind that he still believes some of the stuff he spouts. It's not all about winding people up. That's just the icing on the cake.

How many of you can say they were in the Park Lane end when Spurs lost at home to Arsenal 5-0? I can. Now if I can survive that, I am sure I will be fine.

You lot take it far too serious, it`s a game FFS.

Kane will move on, Spurs will move on. And we will all hopefully continue to support Spurs. What`s the problem?
