If we replicated next season what he has done so far since he has come in we most likely win the league.

=========

well if you repeat the form since he came in and we repeat ours then you most likely won't.

we don't concede as many gols and we score more, based on results since he came in.

you can't even beat us at ibrox in a do or die game,
----------------------------------------------------------------------
FFS he hasn't got a player through the door yet.

He's a big improvement from Van Bronckhorst under who we were miles off Celtic. In the last game we deserved the win.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Did GvB not have a better record when he first came in?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No not really comparable, he didnt have an OF in his first 7/8 games ... looking at the results in the league when he came in looks like he had 2 draws in his first 8/9 games then played celtic in his 10th and got skelped.
----------------------------------------------------------------------GvB won his first 7 league games. He'd have loved to be up against the depleted Celtic given all the whining we heard about the fixture cancellation!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
oh aye true forgot about the celtic team at that time.

But he still got skelped in the game, Beales team looks better.

anyway I am comparing this seasons Gio team with Beales and so far Beales has been a noticeable improvement.

And like I said IMO we have been the better team in every game we have played.

19th of Jan, 12 days left of the window.
Beale needs players, wont make one bit of difference to the league outcome this season but believe me I know from past experience supporting Celtic, waiting until the summer is a mistake, and it impacts next season and early european qualifiers.

Back him he has a chance wait until summer whilst Celtic have auto CL and business done in Jan ready for next season and a summer window to add more and he will be up against it from the start of next season.

Rangers really need a GK and a striker btw, Roofe injured again as is Colak and Morelos a yellow away from suspension. Beale could be looking at a very sparse striking option in the next few weeks.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
GK can wait til summer IMO.

Need a new striker and someone who can drive with the ball in CM.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Goalkeeper and centre mid would be my priorities. Not sure why focus is on wingers when Kent, Sakala and Tilman are on form. Hagi and Lawrence to come back too. We need a rw, but gk and cm are our issues. Fbs been an issue too not that we’ll get new fbs.

Striker we need but we have options at least. Roofe isn’t out for long, this time…

Roofe cannot be relied upon to be a striker for us so he goes in the bin for me.

Im not sure how effective Colak will be in Beales system and Morelos wont be here next year I reckon.

A GK doesnt need the same time to settle into a team IMO so that position can wait til summer.

We 100% need a creative CM and CF bedded in.

For the 2 no 10 roles we have Kent, Sakala, Tillman, Wright, apprantly bidding for Whittaker, Hagi and Lawrence to come back so I cant see another no 10 or winger as people keep saying to come in.

After so so many years of dragging our heels every window it is so refreshing to see our new approach. I didn't see us being so proactive this Jan, A few season back with a 9 point lead we would have signed no kant in Jan.

can't say i find that to be reputable.

you don't look particularly good just now, you hope with a new manager that you get a bounce and some excitement.

you're about as exciting as your boring manager and his moley moleface.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
for about 75mins we were dominant and it was confortable.

We have been the better team in every game since his return, still havent had a complete 90 min performance but Beale has made an excellent start so far
----------------------------------------------------------------------

In 7 league games under him, you've conceded two goals 4 times.

Is that an excellent start or indicative of a problem in setting up his team?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He got very irate last night when asked about the 9 point gap. Very angrily stated he inherited it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I didn't cause it 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Fick Mick.

Cho doesn’t appear to be happening this window at least.

Rumours of another player from Easter Europe, but no names I’ve seen.

I get why we are going for a RW

It's because Matondo wouldn't make our team if we still had Harry Forrester and David Templeton. This Whittaker seems a low risk buy and someone said he can play CF as well.

I suspect he sees Cantwell as the creative option from midfield.

A new keeper would be nice but i'm not expecting one, McCrorie though should get his chance when he recovers from injury.

You are not getting a new keeper unless Beale really wants to look foolish, he claims to have the best one in the league, be some reversal if he signed a new keeper after that comment (if he of course plays that new keeper)

Yeah it was me,

Whittaker has played just under 40 games as a striker or just off the striker but the majority of his games wide on the right.

If we sign him it will be for the one of the 10's.

Would be happy with Whittaker if we get him. If we are in for Cantwell to possibly suggests we won’t be keeping Tilman, which would be a disappointment. Massive difference not having him in the side last night.

Gk has a huge impact on our defence, and we still have two cups to play for. Why I’d have that as a priority over rw.

Cm agree it takes more time to settle, don’t think a rw will take as much time myself.

What about Hatates pass last night , with his left foot.?

his ability is unreal at times . Some player, love watching him

Kobayashi looked very controlled - a little shaky in the air but other than that he strolled it . Starfelt is a disaster at times , we really need to upgrade on him and hopefully Kobayashi is that man

I cant see us nbot signig Tillman, Beale has made it very clear he wants him and that we should come up with the money somehow if we dont have it. Hasnt uttered anything like that about Sands !!

Tillman has also said multiple times he would like to be here next year but its not up to him its up to the clubs. So to me that looks like Tillman and the club have already agreed details and he wants to be here , just a matter how much we pay for him.

I would be shocked and I think Beale would be raging if we didnt sign him.

Kent, Tillman, Hagi, Whittaker, Matondo, Wright, Sakala, Lawrence, Lowry and potentially Cantwell

For 2 roles.

Tilman has been playing with Sakala and Kent. So it’s 3 roles. And can’t be counting Matondo. But still far too many.

Don’t get why we haven’t loaned out Lowry. Needs to play.

Thought both Starfelt and Kobayashi got better as the game went on. 2 big lumps up front for St Mirren, so was a fair challenge for them.

That goal from Kyogo is a contender for goal of the season. The pass from Hatate and Kyogo being able to take that ball at speed and lob the keeper from so close in-brilliant. Hatate had another excellent game last night. O’Riley needs a goal to settle him.

I think we can all agree the top 3 positions in the table will be the same at the end of the season as they are now.
Celtic>Rangers>Hearts.
Given that who do you think make up the top 6?

And given that, who do you see going down and who has to negotiate a play-off?

And just for fun who wins the Cups?

Yeah under Beale we have seen Tillman in midfield rather than behind the striker.

I would imagine Cantwell, Lowry and Lawrence can do that as well, the others can't but still suggests we need to move on 2/3 maybe 4.

Lowry loan move seems obvious and Matondo the obvious one to get shot of followed by Wright.

ORiley just isnt influencing games anymore , hes still tidy and has good ability but i agree he very much needs a goal or even a major contribution to a goal for us .
He seems to be on the periphery and not having any direct input to the good thing we are doing - look at the difference between him and Hatate for instance ....or dare i say even him and Mooy

Would we even think of signing O’Riley or Turnbull now?

I genuinely doubt it.
