There have been a few sly comments headed rangers way in the past.

Van bronkhurst was too quiet, beale looks like he will just return the serve.

If fans get uptight about managers having sly digs back and forth maybe better supporting crewe or the likes.
No disrespect to the alexandria 😀

I don't even see that it is a dig. Surely no one disputes that the Celtic and Rangers Managers are lucky to have more resources than everyone else.

In the same way Guardiola is lucky to have more resources than other clubs in the division as it gives more chance of success. No one is saying it makes them a lucky Manager, just that they are fortunate to be able to spent £15m in a transfer window when other clubs are spending less than £500k.

Neither Beale nor Ange are lucky to be in their jobs.

Beale did a decent job at Ibrox before. Ange has a pretty impressive CV.

Beale, however will be lucky to still be in it at the end of the year.

Yeah luck has EFF all to do with it. Lucky to have put in the work to get where they are in their careers. Celtic are lucky they stick to their plan of buying cheap and selling for a profit.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
no one said they were lucky to get the job , I said they were lucky to be in jobs we would all love to be in.

Im fairly certain if you asked them both they would say they feel very fortunate to be in charge of such huge clubs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Never heard a manager say anything different.
"This club is schite, they're lucky to have me as manager."
Never.

see this only took a few hours to establish.

Its good when we can all agree.

lets all just move on from this .........

Amount of money Everton have wasted on sh1111t players paying £20m+ is unbelievable....... that's why they had to sell Richarlison to keep within the FFP rules....

Not being racist but did anyone else think Iwata looked exactly like Hatate on Saturday ? his look , his poise on the ball , his running style

Be good to see both in the same room , just to be sure
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hope its his evil twin. Hatate's too nice.

At the game not a good view me & folk near accepted it was a pen.

When I saw the video burst out laughing.

I didn't expect Operation 'Take the Bad Look Affa Goldson' so soon.

I did expect decisions favouring us not to be game deciding ones.

He has the potential to be terrific. Hopefully the move lights a fire under him and he can rediscover his early EPL form.

If it doesnt we have an expensive sub who doesnt contribute much.

Sounds about right.

Had never heard of Cantwell before we started getting linked with him so not too fussed either way. Not overly excited at shopping for championship rejects but I guess that's the market we're in. Hopefully I'm pleasantly surprised.

Think thats a bit unfair on him. 18 months ago he was being quoted at £40m for a bigger move after a good couple of years.

He's lost his way and I have some reservations on that but with next to nothing on fee if he can get close to his previous form he will star up here.

Potential to be an excellent signing.

Done well in the Prem, twice won the championship and scores and assists from midfield. Much needed

posted on 23/1/23

Yeah could go either way. If he lost his way because he has lost his appetite and there are attitude issues then he's not going to do very well in this environment.

However his dip coincided with Smith replacing Farke and a change of system so if its just a case of a fresh start and being afforded more chances to get forward then we could have a good one.

posted on 23/1/23

More like potential to continue not realising his previous potential.

I’ve genuinely no idea what Beale sees in him but he’ll come with some pressure for both of them being his own first signing.

As ever etc.

posted on 23/1/23

His dip continued at Bournemouth so maybe he never suited their system either

I have to say though I think this will be a good signing for Rangers , probably the type if club his career needs

Much better pedigree than Lawrence for instance

‘probably the type if club his career needs”

Just what are you inferring here?
