1. 84 UEFA cup to give us a 3-1 score line on Euro trophies compared to the Woolwich
2. Paul Stewart’s equaliser in 91 - Gazza going off injured, Pearce scoring the free kick, Lineker missing the penalty - it felt like everything was going against us that day then Stewart scored and good old Des Walker notched the winner in extra time
3. 2008 - Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate masterclass. Berbatov with ice in his veins from the spot
4. 1999 - Edinburgh getting sent off, Cottee missing an open goal. Nielsen with the header.
5. Inter Milan at home under Redknapp - the atmosphere was incredible, Bale put in the best performance I think I have ever seen and we rendered the defending European champions to a terrified mess - Maicons career ended that night
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And because I am greedy
6. CL semi - Moura hat trick, utterly ridiculous
7. Beating United in the final game at WHL meaning we went undefeated there in the final season - a fitting send off.
8. Crouch scoring at the Etihad to secure our CL qualification - everyone thought we would bottle it
9. 91 FA cup semi - Gazzas goal, still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up
10. Villa away, Boxing Day in the Redknapp era. Defoe was sent off around 15 mins - Spurs proceeded to absolutely dominate Villa despite having a man less. VDV goal on the break was a thing of beauty - even the Villa fans were applauding us

Sorry Fridgeboy, winning trophies beats the CL moments. Not sure why your so surprised. Look at all the old posters moments on here as proof. All trophy wins. Ask any lower league fan lucky to see their club win a play off trophy. Any money that’s their greatest moment. The Moura moment was unreal. Doesn’t beat that feeling seeing us lift a trophy beating Chelsea no chance.

Nope, not for me. I'm not saying they're not good. Of course they are but they're not the ONLY that thing creates that euphoric feeling. To think that the 1999 cup final beats the semi final win over Ajax, I think is just mental but each their own I guess.
You have to remember that 99% of football teams don't win any trophies. Clubs that haven't won a thing still have great stories, great moments and a similar feeling of elation.
You also have to caveat the fact that a lot of the older posters are voting for the 60s because, yes, Spurs were great, but they were also younger, with hopes and dreams so it's always going to draw you back.
I think the point is that it shouldn't be exclusively about trophies. They weren't just moments by the way. They were Spurs qualifying for the final of the greatest cup competition in club football history. It was monumental. David and Goliath stuff. Beating a hapless Leicester side 1-0 at Wembley doesn't feel the same. Sorry, it just doesn't.

Another decade under Levy and we'll be a similar position to those West Ham fans, pointing out insignificant league wins over rivals instead of crucial cup winning or CL moments.

A mate of mine offered me a ticket to that game against Wigan but I had a raging hangover so turned it down. I've never regretted anything more. I like to tell myself that had I gone, the gods would have conspired against us and a 0-0 draw would have played out. I didn't go, so we won 9-1. You're welcome guys.
I have a few to many really. But here goes my favourite five.
1. 1961 Seeing Spurs win the FIRST Double of the 20th century
2. 1963 Seeing Spurs win the FIRST European trophy won by a British club
3. Seeing Jimmy Greaves score 37 1st division goals in a season. 60 year later still not been beaten, only equalled, once. Although he did score 41 for Chelsea in a season previous.
4. 1982 Seeing Spurs win back to back FA Cups, the FIRST side to do it twice in the 20th century.
5. 1984 Being at WHL to see Spurs become the FIRST side to lift the UEFA Cup twice.
FIRST is always the best.
For me, all the very best moments were winning trophies. But for many I would guess games they were at when something special happened may be up there as well.
1989 cannot be beaten for me as an Arsenal fan. Went through all the emotions; naive belief pre-match, frustration through the first half, joy at the first goal and confusion as Liverpool tried to bully the ref into disallowing it. Growing despondency as Michael Thomas missed a good chance. Sadness as David Pleat said that it was fitting we won the game despite losing the title. Unbridled joy as Thomas broke through the midfield, got a bounce off Steve Nicol and cooling dispatched the ball past Brucie. Fear as Liverpool had once last attack, then relief as Thomas cooling intercepted and rolled the ball back to Lukic. Then another explosion of joy as the final whistle went. Further joy as Tony Adams hoisted the league trophy above his head.
2nd would be Tony Adams volley to seal the 1998 title. It was a good footballing day for me, as in the morning my team won the County Cup. Got very drunk that day
3rd, probably beating Leicester to seal the Invincible League season. Obviously taking the title at WHL was good, but there was a bit of disappointment at only drawing.
4th, maybe the 1-0 over United at Old Trafford to seal the 01/02 title. That team was probably the best Arsenal team I have seen, and despite being weakened for that midweek trip to our rivals, we took the title.
5th - the Cup Winners Cup was great, Alan Smiths volley a class way to win it and a superb defensive performance. The 87 League Cup final will always be special for it being the first trophy won by Arsenal in my lifetime. The 91 title winning season had many highlights, but with the title actually being won by Liverpool losing to Forest it didn't really have that one moment. However, I will have to go with 2014 FA Cup final. Being in a long drought, having embarrassingly lost to the Brum in the League Cup final, and then going 2-0 down early versus Hull I was beginning to doubt I would ever see another triumph. Then Santi stepped up, Koscielny netted and Aaron Ramsey won it in extra time. Relief very much mixed in with joy, and it set us off on 4 FA Cups in 7 seasons.

You make out like that’s a bad thing. Beating that “hapless” Leicester saw us lift a trophy. Beating Chelsea in that incredible game in the league cup final saw us lift a trophy over one of fierce rivals. Lucas Moura as fantastic as it was, was just a moment that lead to one of the biggest ever disappointments as a Spurs fan. That’s all I’m ever reminded of, losing that final. Yes an incredible moment but give me a trophy over a moment any day of the week. We think differently with Spurs clearly.
I always watch the "trophy lift" no matter which team wins it. It is, for me, what it is all about. Even if it is a rival winning, or Arsenal have lost.
Dele two goals away to Chelsea and an Eriksen blaster was good.
Harry Kane with two against Chelsea and King Jose. 5-3 was a mad one.

Shout out to Gareth Bale away to the spammers with that last minute goal and Tom Carrol's assist.

1) 2008 League Cup final
2) Crouch goal vs Man City
3) Lucas last minute goal
4) 1999 League Cup final (only because I didn't see it at the time)
5) Finally beating Arsenal at their place in the dying minutes maybe?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Forgot about that last one. Was that the Kaboul last minute winner?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah the Kaboul header. Is it not the only time we've beaten Arsenal at the Emirates in the league in recent times?

Sorry Fridgeboy, winning trophies beats the CL moments. Not sure why your so surprised. Look at all the old posters moments on here as proof. All trophy wins. Ask any lower league fan lucky to see their club win a play off trophy. Any money that’s their greatest moment. The Moura moment was unreal. Doesn’t beat that feeling seeing us lift a trophy beating Chelsea no chance.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nope, not for me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Does make you wonder what a West Ham fan under the age of 40 would rank as their top West Ham moments - reckon there would be at least 2 victories over Spurs in their list
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Antonio holding the cardboard cutout of himself in celebration might make a top 5 list.

I forgot about the Wigan game. That was a good one.
We actually had some pretty good moments under Redknapp didn't we?

Harry Kane with two against Chelsea and King Jose. 5-3 was a mad one.
