Fair play to Carlos, he played an absolute blinder. Deserved win
Anyone gonna get up at stupid hour to watch F1 in Japan? I guess many will skip the Practice sessions. I will watch Q live but have to skip the Race at 6am. I am having a party on Saturday, so no way I am up that early. And considering my age, for sure the party wont last till 6am either
I’ve the week off so think I’ll give it a watch.
It should be a RB 1/2 but I’ll be interested to see how Mclaren do
Max dominating both practices. Looks like the rule change at Singapore wasnt the reason for their struggle. Which I am sure a lot of people were hoping for.
Looks like it's going to be a full sweep for max
Sky is really milking that ferrari win. As if they are the second coming of red bull after one win.
Max absolutely destroyed the competition. And Ferrari were nowhere. Perez 7 tenths down on max.

McLaren & Mercedes ought to split tyre strategy one driver start on softs and the other on mediums, go aggressive (I expect all the top 8 to start on new mediums).
Mercedes saving an extra set of hard tyres, could be onto a winner here on an abrasive track.
Don't trust Ferrari on this track to be in the hunt for podium, with their tyre degradation.

Two to three stop race should make for an interesting race, behind Max who will sail off into the distance....barring disaster like slow start, pitstops, or mechnical failure etc
Red Bull champs!
Sour note with the Perez situation - yes it’s in the rules but not within the spirit of the sport
Mclaren again have been incredible
Perez can consider himself fortunate to get the 2nd seat after yet another no show. Well done RB, absolutely blitzed this season and bounced back well after Singapore. Good 4 way battle for the remaining places, should be Merc 2nd with Ferrari 3rd and Mclaren taking 4th off Aston.
Max wins the sprint race and he's world champion
What’s with the delay? Norris was well off and should be starting 10th
Finally….
Confirmed Norris P10
Max already weighing himself and the rest was still racing what a boss
Tyre-life limits have been imposed for this weekend's Qatar Grand Prix because of safety concerns.
Pirelli noticed tyre damage after analysis following qualifying on Friday and have imposed a 20-lap limit for new tyres used in the race, and 22 for used.
Track limits have been revised in Turns 12 and 13 before running resumes.
If the problems recur, drivers will be forced to do at least three pit stops in Sunday's Grand Prix.
They will have a 10-minute session at 14:00 BST on Saturday to adjust to the changes.
The start of qualifying for the sprint race will be postponed until 14:20 as a result.

Oscar getting McLaren' first win before Lando, will pıss the latter off. Missed opportunity.
Oscar is a problem.
Checo pitlane start.

Three-stop race, if it goes the distance.
Tyres available - https://pbs.twimg.com/media/F75_w3BXAAArclF?format=jpg&name=large
No-one uses the soft tyres, unless there is a safety car at the end with handful of laps to go. Tyre degradation is high.
Can my comment please be deleted for exceeding thread limits?
Sainz out of the race. Fuel system issues
Think I might like the idea of forced pit stops. Hate one stop races
