Wow!!!
GET IN MERCEDES!
Great call by George and superb pace by Lewis.
That was amazing.
Not just the result, but George & Lewis crossed the line at EXACTLY the same moment that Stokes hit the winning runs in the test match.
Love the schadenfreude I'm getting from the commentators begging Mercedes to tell Russell to let Hamilton past. As if they should just let Hamilton by so he could win even though his teammate deserves it.
Then again McLaren...

I think it was more to do with the huge pace advantage Lewis had. 0.5s needed for an overtake and Lewis was catching George at 0.8s. No point risking a DNF or allowing Oscar to catch up when in reality the team only care for a 1-2.
The dirty air and George’s defence put that to bed… although they cut it so fine with the McLaren at the line
Brilliant race by Russell. Brave call.
Mercedes is Back!
Who saw this season coming… can, Max be beaten to the title. He has no support from Perez. Newey gone.
Suddenly he could be in for a battle
OH NO!!! Russell potentially underweight
Is he aboot to lose the Race, and Hamilton given the win!?!
The Drams
Huge shame for Russel but 1.5kg on an F1 car can make a difference.
After the Race, car number 63 was weighed and its weight was 798.0 kg, which is the minimum weight required by TR Article 4.1. After this, fuel was drained out of the car and 2.8 litres of fuel were removed. The car was not fully drained according to the draining procedure submitted by the team in their legality documents as TR Article 6.5.2 is fulfilled. The car was weighed again on the FIA inside and outside scales and the weight was 796.5 kg. The calibration of the outside and inside scales was confirmed and witnessed by the competitor.
As this is 1.5 kg below the minimum weight requested in TR Article 4.1, which also has to be respected at all times during the Competition, I am referring this matter to the Stewards for their consideration.

Yeah, feel really bad for him. Drove beautifully tbf,but the rules are black and white on this and it may have given him an advantage. What a way to go into the F1 mid season break.

It was his call for a one stop.
They all underfueled as there's pretty much always a safety car at spa, unfortunately Russell went over the limit. Given how slow he was late on, you'd have thought it would have overcome the fuel deficit compared to those pushing a bit harder ....
Max and RB should still win the championships but the fans got what they wanted from the sport now with so much unpredictability.

He had enough petrol left. 2.8 kilo.
Fuel is drained before weighing anyway
Finally got a chance to update the OP properly.
F1 is back this weekeend !!!!
The iconic Dutch circuit Zandvoort.
Wonder how long it will take for Russell's car to blow up tomorrow...
Rubbish lap from lewis there considering where george is, maclaren looking ominous though
McClaren have built a rocketship. Max was fighting the hell out of the RB and still beat Piastri. RB did have a tenth better race pace in yesterday's practice plus Lando's record at starts, should be a good one. Perez, v Piastri v Russell should be spicy too.
Another slow start fior Norris
