Max equalling Ayrton Senna's streak of consecutive poles

Max in Q3 was on another level through Tosa section, absolutely rapid through there. Interesting race tomorrow as RB don't have a race pace that's set in stone after a lot od tinkering today, drivers going off everywhere, expecting a SC or two with a few drivers beaching it.

Yet Sky and BBC struggle to give Max credit. Apparently he only had pole because of Hulkenberg and Magnussen. They're so desperate to downplay everything he achieves.

The variety of tracks in an F1 season is what’s makes it exciting

I generally dont like Monaco, but for now I'd keep it - mainly because its a difficult track for Red bull so more chance of a competitive race.

The problem isn't Monaco. It's all the tracks trying to be Monaco. Get rid of them instead!

Less street races, more classic circuits

I’ve said for years now to get rid of the Monaco GP. Yeah, I love the hairpin, I love the swimming pool, I love the tunnel - all unique locations on the circuit and more besides but it’s no longer a track that’s good for actual racing. Hasn’t been for a long time. The only excitement is lights out and if it’s wet or someone gets too friendly with the barriers. Otherwise it’s the procession of all processions around some tax haven.

Jewel in the crown? More like, pebble in the shoe. Time to go! Replace it with that Bahrain outer ring circuit, bring back the Indian GP anything but Monte Carlo, it’s had its day

Didn't riciardo once won it with a broken car? No one could overtake.

add another USA race - monaco sux

Monaco imo is bottom of the list for street circuits now. Baku and Jeddah are way better as they're faster and can actually overtake (race) Monaco is 30% full throttle ffs. Its more of an exhibition than a race imo

As for the race, if I was Red Bull, id use Perez as a sheethouse card. Hold up the pack blatantly to allow Max to keep in the jam, until he boxes for an aggressive undercut. With it being a narrow track, Perez can afford to ignore a few blue flags 😜
